Poor lil' Meghan McCain is having a twitter breakdown. @Mccainblogette posted a twitter picture that's roiled the service, resulting with Ms. McCain boo-hooing about the evils of Conservative Republicans who won't accept her leftish ways. She's even threatened to quit Twitter.
Meghan's derided and abused Conservatives such as Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter (who hasn't much responded to her young tarty tormentor, but when she does, I'm thinking Ms. McCain will be torn ragged and bloody, as Michelle Malkin's already done for her).
So, what's up with the pic that's riled the Twitterverse? Here's the original.

ReplyDeleteWhether you like it or not, Meghan McCain and others like her are the future of your party. Slightly more moderate, with other issues in mind besides abortion and hating the gays. What's that, you sputter? Opposing abortion and hating gays are the cornerstones of your party? Yes, yes, this is true.... but think of it this way -- say, how old are you? Middle-aged? You probably remember some older folks who opposed integration and that whole civil rights thing. To those old kooks, the issue of whether whites and blacks could go to the same school was essential, fundamental, not open to compromise. And yet, they slowly died off and were replaced by Republicans like you, who actually are able to sit next to a black guy and not have an allergic reaction. Funny how things change?
And the Repubs that are coming up now are the same way with the gays. It's no big thing anymore.
