Obama...
"We will not lose this election if all of you are as committed as you were last year," he said. "So I want everybody in this auditorium to make a pledge that in these next 48 hours, you will work just as hard for Jon as you worked for me."A poor choice, Democrats, Obama. Corzine is routinely hated by New Jerseyans. Obama spent Sunday stumping for Jon Corzine; there is worry that, even with Obama's ample support, Corzine might perform poorly enough to taint.
We'll see.
Oh, Virginia's Governorship is a lock for Republicans. Republican Bob McDonnell will easily defeat Democrat Creigh Deeds. The other two? I'm thinking New York's 23 will prolly go to the Independent (Tea Party) candidate Doug Hoffman over Buck Owens (sorry, Bill Owens: wrong sheep herder).
Updates later, if I'm awake.

Yawn. Voters in all three races today expressed that they were disgruntled with the economy, but that the President was not a factor. Deeds was doomed from the start, but the Corzine loss is pretty brutal.
So you can crow about that, while i can crow that Sarah Palin's idiocy just cost the Republicans a district that has been a lock for over a hundred years.
Owens, baby, Owens!!!
Hoffman lost? Meh.
Scozzafava lost first. And lost best.
Fuck the RINOs.
For Conservatives, the choices for NY23:
1st Choice: Hoffman
2nd Choice: Owens
Intolerable Choice: Scozzafava
So, there's that. We clipped the RINO.
We should, and will, do that clipping thinger as often as needed.
Republicans learned a valuable lesson(s):
Don't close the tent to Conservatives, and
Don't open the door for RINOs.
Scozzafava can now disappear into complete limbo, and never trouble us again.
Way to spin it, sir. Dizzy yet?
So you let the Moose Woman split your party down the middle, allowing a Democrat to win a race they never could have won otherwise... and you're counting this as a silver medal?
Heeeeee. That's cute.
You've learned the wrong lesson. What you should learn is that in 2012 when Palin tells you not to vote for "RINO Romney" but rather for the Teabagger candidate, you should tell her to shut her retarded yap and get the hell back to Alaska. She's cost you two elections so far, how many more will it take before reality starts to sink in?
Why should we (well, the GOP) support a woman who is not even trying to correctly show a separation in ideology from the opposition? This isn't a game for some fat tub of lard who wants to get a bit of power for whatever personal reasons. We need to have fundamental and measurable opposition to those on the Left, or we have tyranny.
Scozzy can go back to gin rummy or pinochle if she only wants to play games.
Sarah is the anti-Obama, the anti-Left, and I really like that in a woman.
You're joking, right? Palin is your Al Sharpton.
Here, let me paint a little picture for you.
-- It's the 2008 election. Candidate Obama creates a stir when he names the Reverend Al Sharpton as his running mate. This solidifies his support with the NAACP and other groups, but comes across to others as risky.
Sharpton's readiness is called into question as he flubs numerous interviews, and makes baffling statements such as that he reads "all, any newspapers" and "pray, baby, pray!" McCain and Ridge take a lead in the polls.
McCain wins the Presidency. Exit polling on election day reveals that voters' dislike of Sharpton was a key factor. Sharpton quits his job and moves back to his home state to "fight in another direction." He now posts rants on his Facebook page decrying Republican candidates, and remains a favorite of the radical left, who threaten to split with the Democratic Party unless Sharpton's radical agenda of reparations is adhered to by its candidates.
Serr8d, a Nashville blogger, routinely mocks Sharpton in his posts, to which his liberal noters remark, "you're just terrified of his power! Sharpton is the anti-McCain, and you're just scared of that!" --
.
....and now you understand how 80% of the country feels about Palin.
Heh. I am the anti-McCain! I didn't like him since the primary fights with Bush in 1999 and 2000; I didn't like him when he threatened to leave the Republican party and join the Dems after he lost said primary fights; I don't like him right now (and I like his fat-assed daughter even less).
McCain would've gotten far fewer votes had he selected any other running mate than Sarah Palin. Who is an ordinary citizen, not an elite snob (I thought you Dems were for ordinary citizens? Unless of course they are not Leftists!)
(Oh, your Sharpton comparison is weak. Sharpton can't win any political office; he's ran for the Senate three times, once for NYC Mayor, and for President. He's never won anything. And don't forget Tawana Brawley and Bensonhurst and the Crown Heights riots. Sarah Palin, who was elected Governor of Alaska, has none of those nassty racialist negatives. And is a lot better looking. )
Fat-assed daughter? Dude, if you don't think Meghan McCain is anything besides voluptuously fuckable, you may want to file a missing persons report for your BALLS.
And don't pick nits about my Sharpton comparison, you know that my essential point is that both are clowns who are liked only by the very fringes of there respective parties.
