Ted Kennedy and Drunk Drivers: Together, Forever: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel inadvertently gets it right.

...whether they realize it or not.

h/t Grandpa John via American Power Blog.

Ever heard of the Newseum? These good folks archive the front pages of newspapers, some 837 or so a day. This Milwaukee Journal Sentinel front page obviously came from August 27; see page 12 for this one.

News from the Town Hall Protests: Obama's OFA steps up astroturfing

American Power Blog has a pretty good roundup of the latest protests. Oh, and this, an 'Enemies List' put out by a far-Left, anarcho-communist, Obama supporter named "Flugennock"...

Enemies List: [From that lovely Obama Supporter "Flugennock"]

teabaggers' march on washington
dick armey's 'freedomworks'
tea party patriots
nationwide tea party coalition
join patients first
smart girl politics
americans for limited government
americans for prosperity
american liberty alliance
american liberty tour
net right nation
redstate.com
michelle malkin, that insane chick
sam adams alliance (not beer-related)
That's enough to warrant all of these appearing on a newly-improvised Blog Roll.

This post on a Denver Town Hall that was taken over by Obama Astroturfers (the original and best!) from last Friday yielded up some visual hilarity. These OFA oafs are celebrating for legal dope...

You listening, kid?

Ted Kennedy: Media gildings. Or re-gildings. Well, an attempted re-gilding. They tried, but couldn't really make it work out.

God Term-Limited Ted Kennedy. A shame there weren't enough opposition voters in Masshole to get him out of office sooner.

Today's funeral was ostentatious. The state-run media played their parts, giving this leftist, elected politician a King's sendoff.

Just listen to the programmed kids pushing health care.

But there was plenty of voices who spoke truth to Ted Kennedy's life of excesses. Some folks had fun.

Jim Treacher, on the Twitter:
Indeed, Joe, we could have once more seen Camelot Ascendant, were it not for Excalibur being denied to the Rightful Heir by the Lady in the Lake.

This hooker isn't breathing. Fortunately for me, my brothers were secular martyrs and I like to give away other people's money. #teddymath

He was called the Lion of the Senate. Not for his white mane or mighty roar, but because he mated without limits and killed without remorse.

From "Ask not what your country can do for you" to "Ask not why we're exploiting our grandkids to ask your country to do things for you."

Sarah Palin praying for her son in Iraq = Fundamentalist kookery. Ted's grandson praying for socialized medicine = Personal, private moment.

Doctor Zero, a rising blogger-star working Hot Air's Green Room, delivers some masterful parody...
The otherwise flawless execution of the funeral procession was disrupted only by a brief moment of confusion when the pall bearers assembled to carry the Senator’s casket into the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum, where his body will lie in repose. According to event organizers, Kennedy’s will had originally asked for his longest-serving colleagues from the Senate to serve as pall bearers, but upon learning that several of these senators are Republicans, the will was hastily re-written to allow the governor of Massachusetts to select the pall bearers instead. A legal challenge was immediately referred to the Supreme Court. Fortunately for the restless crowds of mourners, the legal impasse was broken when an exasperated Michelle Obama grabbed the casket and carried it into the library by herself.
Deathploitation, or How We Renamed ObamaCare as "Do it for Ted Kennedy's Memory! (except that unfortunate incident in 1969, of course...)"

Oh, on Obamacare... Charles Krauthammer opines that ObamaCare is dead because of reality, not because of teabaggery...
What's killing the Obama health plan is not the Republicans, it's not the Blue Dogs, it isn't the rallies in the town meetings. It's numbers. It's reality. Obama says: "I'm going to expand coverage and reduce the cost." And the CBO, the Congressional Budget Office, steps in and gives you numbers. It says: No, it will not reduce. It will increase our costs by $1 trillion.

Obama says: "Oh, yes, [cost might rise] in the first decade , and then it will decline." The CBO says no. There will be an increase in the deficit in the second decade. It's the numbers and the reality that is sinking Obamacare.
I'm betting that not even Ted Kennedy's name will save that bill.

Well, so we see Ted Kennedy finally exit stage left. Let's hope his last-minute plea for salvation works out well for him. But, Catholic funeral or not, he's got some 'splaining to do...
It is up to God to judge Senator Kennedy’s soul. We, as rational persons, must judge his actions, and his actions were not at all in line with one who values and carefully applies Church teaching on weighty matters. Ted Kennedy’s positions on a variety of issues have been a grave scandal for decades, and to honor this “catholic” champion of the culture of death with a Catholic funeral is unjust to those who have actually paid the price of fidelity. We now find out that President Obama will eulogize the Senator at his funeral—an indignity which, following on the heels of the Notre Dame fiasco, leaves faithful Catholics feeling sullied, desecrated and dehumanized by men who seem to look for opportunities to slap the Church in the face and do so with impunity simply because they have positions of power.
Abortion, stem cell research, all those things morally reprehensible to Catholics, he embraced, just like a good liberal should. That served him well during his life. We won't know how that will serve him afterlife, but let's hope he finds mercy. Because there's no waterboarding where he might wind up...

Ted Kennedy: Community Organizer for the KGB; he contacted the USSR with methodology for backstabbing the U.S.A. and then-President Reagan

This, from Sweetness & Light, is the complete text of the Committee on State Security of the USSR's letter to Comrade Y.V. Andropov, detailing Ted Kennedy's offer to give them 'Community Organization' pointers, including sending Dan Rather to Moscow to manipulate our media. This is proof of Ted Kennedy's near-treason AFAIC...

Special Importance
Committee on State Security of the USSR
14.05. 1983 No. 1029 Ch/OV
Moscow

Regarding Senator Kennedy’s request to the General Secretary of the Communist Party Comrade Y.V. Andropov

Comrade Y.V. Andropov

On 9-10 May of this year, Senator Edward Kennedy’s close friend and trusted confidant J. Tunney was in Moscow. The senator charged Tunney to convey the following message, through confidential contacts, to the General Secretary of the Center Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Y. Andropov.

Senator Kennedy, like other rational people, is very troubled by the current state of Soviet-American relations. Events are developing such that this relationship coupled with the general state of global affairs will make the situation even more dangerous. The main reason for this is Reagan’s belligerence, and his firm commitment to deploy new American middle range nuclear weapons within Western Europe.

According to Kennedy, the current threat is due to the President’s refusal to engage any modification on his politics. He feels that his domestic standing has been strengthened because of the well publicized improvement of the economy: inflation has been greatly reduced, production levels are increasing as is overall business activity. For these reasons, interest rates will continue to decline. The White House has portrayed this in the media as the "success of Reaganomics."

Naturally, not everything in the province of economics has gone according to Reagan’s plan. A few well known economists and members of financial circles, particularly from the north-eastern states, foresee certain hidden tendencies that many bring about a new economic crisis in the USA. This could bring about the fall of the presidential campaign of 1984, which would benefit the Democratic party. Nevertheless, there are no secure assurances this will indeed develop.

The only real threats to Reagan are problems of war and peace and Soviet-American relations. These issues, according to the senator, will without a doubt become the most important of the election campaign. The movement advocating a freeze on nuclear arsenals of both countries continues to gain strength in the United States. The movement is also willing to accept preparations, particularly from Kennedy, for its continued growth. In political and influential circles of the country, including within Congress, the resistance to growing military expenditures is gaining strength.

However, according to Kennedy, the opposition to Reagan is still very weak. Reagan’s adversaries are divided and the presentations they make are not fully effective. Meanwhile, Reagan has the capabilities to effectively counter any propaganda. In order to neutralize criticism that the talks between the USA and the USSR are non-constructive, Reagan will grandiose, but subjectively propagandistic. At the same time, Soviet officials who speak about disarmament will be quoted out of context, silenced or groundlessly and whimsically discounted. Although arguments and statements by officials of the USSR do appear in the press, it is important to note the majority of Americans do not read serious newspapers or periodicals.

Kennedy believes that, given the current state of affairs, and in the interest of peace, it would be prudent and timely to undertake the following steps to counter the militaristic politics of Reagan and his campaign to psychologically burden the American people. In this regard, he offers the following proposals to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Y.V. Andropov:

1. Kennedy asks Y.V. Andropov to consider inviting the senator to Moscow for a personal meeting in July of this year. The main purpose of the meeting, according to the senator, would be to arm Soviet officials with explanations regarding problems of nuclear disarmament so they may be better prepared and more convincing during appearances in the USA. He would also like to inform you that he has planned a trip through Western Europe, where he anticipates meeting England’s Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and French President Mitterand in which he will exchange similar ideas regarding the same issues.

If his proposals would be accepted in principle, Kennedy would send his representative to Moscow to resolve questions regarding organizing such a visit.

Kennedy thinks the benefits of a meeting with Y.V.Andropov will be enhanced if he could also invite one of the well known Republican senators, for example, Mark Hatfield. Such a meeting will have a strong impact on American and political circles in the USA (In March of 1982, Hatfield and Kennedy proposed a project to freeze the nuclear arsenals of the USA and USSR and published a book on the theme as well.)

2. Kennedy believes that in order to influence Americans it would be important to organize in August-September of this year, televised interviews with Y.V. Andropov in the USA. A direct appeal by the General Secretary to the American people will, without a doubt, attact a great deal of attention and interest in the country. The senator is convinced this would receive the maximum resonance in so far as television is the most effective method of mass media and information.

If the proposal is recognized as worthy, then Kennedy and his friends will bring about suitable steps to have representatives of the largest television companies in the USA contact Y.V. Andropov for an invitation to Moscow for the interview. Specifically, the president of the board of directors of ABC, Elton Raul and television columnists Walter Cronkite or Barbara Walters could visit Moscow. The senator underlined the importance that this initiative should be seen as coming from the American side.

Furthermore, with the same purpose in mind, a series of televised interviews in the USA with lower level Soviet officials, particularly from the military would be organized. They would also have an opportunity to appeal directly to the American people about the peaceful intentions of the USSR, with their own arguments about maintaining a true balance of power between the USSR and the USA in military term. This issue is quickly being distorted by Reagan’s administration.

Kennedy asked to convey that this appeal to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union is his effort to contribute a strong proposal that would root out the threat of nuclear war, and to improve Soviet-American relations, so that they define the safety of the world. Kennedy is very impressed with the activities of Y.V. Andropov and other Soviet leaders, who expressed their commitment to heal international affairs, and improve mutual understandings between peoples.

The senator underscored that he eagerly awaits a reply to his appeal, the answer to which may be delivered through Tunney.

Having conveyed Kennedy’s appeal to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Tunney also explained that Senator Kennedy has in the last few years actively made appearances to reduce the threat of war. Because he formally refused to partake in the election campaign of 1984, his speeches would be taken without prejudice as they are not tied to any campaign promises. Tunney remarked that the senator wants to run for president in 1988. At that time, he will be 56 and his personal problems, which could hinder his standing, will be resolved (Kennedy has just completed a divorce and plans to remarry in the near future). Taken together, Kennedy does not discount that during the 1984 campaign, the Democratic Party may officially turn to him to lead the fight against the Republicans and elect their candidate president. This would explain why he is convinced that none of the candidates today have a real chance at defeating Reagan.

We await instructions.

President of the committee
V. Chebrikov

(emboldenings mine, for the most part.)

This proposal to aid the USSR's government was made by 'Proggtard's Hero' Ted Kennedy, being buried today in Arlington Cemetery, resting place of real American Heroes. If this had worked out for Ted, then the USSR might not have fallen. We might still have that Wall.

All I can say is, Thank You, God, for term limits.

The Rosemobile: Rose Kennedy's '67 Oldsmobile Delmont 88

Darleen Click, conservative blogger at Protein Wisdom, has an excellent post up today...
Pimping Ted Kennedy’s corpse [Darleen Click]

From the execrable Nancy Pelosi to Kleagle Robert Byrd; from radical leftwing MSNBC to The Worthless One, Jimmy Carter; not even 24 hours could pass without them shamelessly running Teddy’s corpse up the flag pole and demanding we salute it by giving up our liberty.

Democrats are invoking the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s commitment to universal health-care coverage in seeking regain political momentum to pass a U.S. health overhaul plan by the end of the year.

Excuse me, but fuck that noise.

And the cynical laudatory scribblings from the Leftcult’s Vagina Warrior apparatchiks are stomach turning since Teddy was infamous for considering the female half of the nation as nothing more than a box of kleenex in service of his penis’ needs. And, no, being nice to John McCain’s son doesn’t ameliorate Mary Jo’s death.

Cindy Sheehan made a career of pimping her dead son’s corpse. Democrats have surpassed her in a mere day’s time.

Heh. I'm traveling, so Darleen, let me say "Hear, Hear!"

Because that's all I've heard. Out-of-place hero worship. For a man who is not, nor has he ever been, a hero.

Mary Jo! Mary Jo! Mary Jo!

Hilarity in the Crosswords: KA-BOOM!

I had to share this.

Yesterday, I started teh crosswords (Nashville CityPaper's Monday edition, dated 8/24/09), looked at the first clue...

ACROSS
1. To whom a Muslim prays

Easy enough, right?

A couple seconds later, the Crossword "Title" halted my crosswording for the day.

If this Crossword author is actually a prisoner, then he should be released early, for this moment of hilarity.

Now, to finish my puzzle... )

GRIM FISCAL PICTURE: Among Democrats, only the Blue Dogs realize ObamaCare isn't going to fly.

New deficit projections could slow Obama's agenda

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House and U.S. Congress will issue separate budget estimates on Tuesday that could slow President Barack Obama's domestic policy proposals as he faces increased skepticism among lawmakers.

The reports by the White House budget office and the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office are expected to show the government will spend a record $1.6 trillion more than it collects this year and nearly double its outstanding debt over the next 10 years.

The grim fiscal picture could provide further fodder to opponents of Obama's nearly $1 trillion healthcare overhaul, including fiscally conservative members of his own Democratic party, who say the nation must get its existing healthcare and retirement programs under control before extending them.
That ObamaCare dawg just won't hunt. We've been telling 'em this for decades now, starting with HillaryCare in '92.

OH, also, have you heard? Michael Jackson is still dead.

Who knew?

Meet Your New DOCTOR

I didn't like my earlier version of this NEW DOCTOR poster, so I reworked a couple things.

click to embiggen

Credits: For the original source image, Darleen Click at PW's posted video (the video wasn't all that; crappy out-of-focus pictures, the music's worse, but the prize was that iconic Barack Obama image, Obama with back turned away from the camera (and from our Constitution,no?), but he's still recognizable...how's that work?? )

The "Meet Your Doctor" theme comes from The Heartland Institute, a fine 501(c)3 think tank with the following disclaimer...
The Heartland Institute is a national nonprofit research and education organization, tax exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, and founded in Chicago in 1984. It is not affiliated with any political party, business, or foundation.

Heartland's mission is to discover, develop, and promote free-market solutions to social and economic problems. Such solutions include parental choice in education, choice and personal responsibility in health care, market-based approaches to environmental protection, privatization of public services, and deregulation in areas where property rights and markets do a better job than government bureaucracies.
(emboldenings mine.)

They may not be politically associated with any party, but I'll wager that they are closer to home to Conservatives than with the far-left iteration of the current Democrats. The (non) giveaway line "free-market solutions" is anathema to Democrats who are now mostly comprised of dirty socialists.

Also on the "Meet Your New Doctor" theme, Iowahawk's latest "Wake Up, Mrs. Petrowski" features Baracky as a night orderly on the 14th floor of a high-rise nursing home, speaking to a troublesome patient...
I have to say, I really enjoy these health care conversations of ours. The best part of being an orderly is talking to old people like you, up in their 90's and 100's.

Right, 78. But let's face it, Mrs. Petrowski, that puts you right up there at the average American life expectancy. So, hey, I guess you could say you're already living on borrowed time. There's just something extremely fascinating and wise and selfless about folks like you, so very close to the sweet release of death. Ah! Here comes Kathy with your jello.
Go read Iowahawk, now, pls, thank you! Or I'll serve you up with a nice ladle of Mrs. Petrowski's jello. Or Obamacare, which would be just as fatal, if you are over 78.

Skank Supermodel Update: Google Outs Blogger Rosemary Port, Who Outed Liskula Cohen. Rosemary Will Now Sue Google.

Ummm...SkankWarz? Will the real Skank Supermodel please stand UP!

I don't think either of these feuding models (supermodels, ex-models, whatever) are skanks, really.

That's right, they know each other; Liskula (Skank 1?) supposedly trashed Rosemary (OK, for continuity, Skank 2) some when, somewhere in the past. So, woman scorned, and all of that; Rosemary invents a website for to trash Liskula, who then sues Google to find out who the then-anonymousy blogger Rosemary really is. Liskula forced Google to 'out' Rosemary, by threat of lawsuit. Google rolls over like a skank in heat.

Doesn't matter which of these young ladies is or is not a skank, or if either or both are really skanks. What matters is the lawsuit Rosemary has brought against Google, and whether or not she prevails. If she loses her lawsuit (or doesn't go forward) then that's a bit chilling to bloggers who use a pseudonym (like me).

From the article at Daily News | Gossip (skank gossip ? )...

"When I was being defended by attorneys for Google, I thought my right to privacy was being protected," Port said.

"But that right fell through the cracks. Without any warning, I was put on a silver platter for the press to attack me. I would think that a multi-billion dollar conglomerate would protect the rights of all its users."

In her suit, she'll charge Google "breached its fiduciary duty to protect her expectation of anonymity," said her high-powered attorney Salvatore Strazzullo.

"I'm ready to take this all the way to the Supreme Court," Strazzullo said. "Our Founding Fathers wrote 'The Federalist Papers' under pseudonyms. Inherent in the First Amendment is the right to speak anonymously. Shouldn't that right extend to the new public square of the Internet?"

"I feel proud to live in a country where you're not persecuted for your opinions," Port said. "That right has to be protected.

"Even though people are now taking shots at me on the Web, I believe those people have a right to their opinions - and their anonymity," said Port, [emboldenings mine -ed.]
This case, if it goes forward, has a chance to become a very important one.

I'll keep my nose on it. Shouldn't be too hard; I've heard you can smell a skank from across the room... )

Ex-Democrat Joe Lieberman to Obama: Hold your Horses! (actually, that would be Unicorns, Sen. Lieberman.)

An interesting development in the Health Care debate. Joe Lieberman, driven from the Democratic party by Howard Dean and the far-left cabal he represents, has poured a load of Connecticut molasses into Barack Obama's signature power grab...

Lieberman Suggests Health Care Reform May Have to Wait

“I’m afraid we’ve got to think about putting a lot of that off until the economy’s out of recession,” Mr. Lieberman said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “There’s no reason we have to do it all now, but we do have to get started. And I think the place to start is cost health delivery reform and insurance market reforms.”
Nope, no mention of single-payer or government-run health care there. Insurance market reform is a pleasant idea; one needed change would be to allow health insurance companies to sell across state lines. We, consumers, could reward the better plans with our business; competition would ensure the lowest prices possible. But Democrats don't care for that sort of thing...if a health insurance consumer purchased a policy in a state that has fewer onerous regulations and mandates (those mandates and regulations increase the cost of a policy) then consumers would, in essence, 'vote' with their dollars against that state's policies. Can't have that; Democrats want to completely control every level of health care by way of mandate, driving the prices to the high-pitched levels we see today. Republicans wanted this sort of reform; but guess what? Democrats opposed it...
“Beware, some of you state legislators,” said Merrill Matthews, Ph.D., director of the Council for Affordable Health Insurance. “The introduction of the Health Care Choice Act portends that your days of micromanaging health insurance, driving up premiums--and the number of uninsured--with costly mandates and guaranteed issue are near an end.

“Should this bill become law,” noted Matthews, “Americans will have access to affordable health insurance coverage despite many of your best efforts to deny them that opportunity.”

“We need the opportunity to shop in a national marketplace,” said John C. Goodman, president of the National Center for Policy Analysis. “If we can buy wine across state lines, why not buy health insurance as well?”
The Health Care Choice Act of 2005 (HR 2355 and S.1015) died from Democrat's maneuverings. H.R.4460 (2007) also died in committee.

Now, Republican Senators have introduced another 'better than Obamacare' Health Care reform bill, the "Patient's Choice Act of 2009"...
A key feature of the Patients’ Choice Act is a $5,700 annual tax credit for families ($2,300 for individuals) designed to cover employees’ out-of-pocket share of employer-sponsored health plans—an average annual cost of $4,200 per family.

The provision is similar to Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) campaign proposal to reform the tax treatment of health insurance by offering tax credits to help workers afford their choice of health coverage. But the Patients’ Choice Act doesn’t alter the tax code for employers, meaning businesses won’t see their tax burdens spike as a result of their employees’ newfound freedom to choose their own health care plans.

Peter Orszag, director of the Office of Management and Budget, explained the benefit to be gained from revising the federal government’s tax treatment of employer health plans in testimony before the Senate Finance Committee in June 2008.

“Imagine what the world would be like if workers [understood] that today it was costing them $10,000 a year in take-home pay for their employer-sponsored insurance, and that could be $7,000 and they could have $3,000 more in their pockets today if we could relieve these inefficiencies out of the health system,” Orszag said.

The Republicans’ plan would increase workers’ take-home pay and decrease their tax burdens, allowing them to better afford the health insurance policy and benefits of their choice. [emphasis mine -ed.]
And, believe it or not, those 'evil' Republicans also included coverage for 'the poor' in this plan...
Better Care for the Poor

Another provision of the Patients’ Choice Act is aimed specifically at lower-income Americans who are currently relegated to bureaucrat-run programs such as Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.

Recognizing those government-administered programs are so inefficient and undesirable that nearly half of prior-enrolled individuals and families decline to sign up for more than one year of nearly free benefits, the act’s sponsors included a provision establishing a path to private coverage and efficient medical care for those poorest Americans.

The act would provide low-income Americans with $5,000 debit cards for purchasing private insurance or paying for health care out of pocket, thereby giving them the resources to acquire effective health care.

Up to 25 percent of any unspent dollars on the debit card would roll over and be added to the next year’s balance, creating an incentive for recipients to exercise wisdom and restraint in using their health care money.

There's a win-win situation for health care reform. Why do the Democrats not favor this sort of intelligent reform? Maybe because it's introduced by Republicans?

It's all about power. Democrats are statists who prefer a state-run program, so as to garner the votes from sheeple that are attracted to something for nothing; the promise of cradle-to-grave care given by the Government-as-Nanny state. With those votes they stay in power.

The sheeple who vote for these statists don't know (or don't care) that government-run single-payer health systems will take away their freedoms to choose doctors and decide what sort of treatments they want, and would drive up health care costs (just as Medicare and Medicaid drove up health care costs, starting in 1965). And, if a thing is perceived to be 'free', freeloaders will clog the system. Since nothing in life is truly 'free', we will see health care costs skyrocketing; the only control for those out-of-control costs (and for the freeloaders clogging the portals) would be health care rationing. Death panels, anyone?

It's as simple as TANSTAFFL.

Michael Vick, playing for the "Eagles". Does anyone else see the irony in that?

Michael Vick is forever chained to the imagery of dog fighting, a cruel sport involving 'man's best friends'.

We, society, exacted a prison term as punishment. He's served his time. He's as forgiven by 'society' as he's ever going to be; but he's still gonna be wearing those marks, those chains if you will. We, society, didn't put those chains on him; he put them on himself, when he took it on himself to fund his friend's bloodsport games. It's up to him alone, Michael Vick, to shake 'em off. Whether he does that by exemplary community services involving animals, or other means, whatever they may be, he's gotta do that for himself.

AFAIC, he's OK to play, and I could care less about the Eagles anyways. You certainly won't see me buying a green #7 jersey. But I would still feel leery about Vick hanging around my dawgs. Or my kids. Or my Chinese restaurant... )

(Hey, that's an old pshop. I made that in '07, when Vick first got busted. It's an early work; I can see some major flaws. But Vick has major flaws, so who's complaining?)
UPDATE: reworked the pshop just a bit. IWarp'ed the chain to perspective; resized MV's overly fat head; changed some of the colors just a tad. But left the dawg's tongue a different shade of pink, as a focus point.

Just for kicks and giggles, after all.

Thugly wee-wees out mobbing for Obama. Organized Mobs for Obama - MOBamas.

SEIU, ACORN, UFCW and other assorted simpletons and Union Thugs mob up (directed to mob up; wound up like little clockworks and pointed in the right direction, because they aren't capable of operating without direction or for any purpose other than the promise of a handout of Other People's Money) at an Organized by Obama (you know, that perpetual community organizer who is permanently in campaign mode) at a Recess Rally in Nashville.

This e-mail just came to me, from Jeremy Bird, writing for BarackObama dot com, with the nice "ORGANIZING FOR AMERICA" logo therein...

Serr --

On Thursday, an astounding 280,000 Organizing for America supporters gathered online to huddle with the President at our National Health Care Forum. With Congress about to return to Washington to make historic decisions on health insurance reform, the President chose this critical moment to speak directly to the OFA community. He reminded us of how far we've come and what we can accomplish together:

Remember one thing: Nothing is more powerful than millions of voices calling for change. That's how we won this election. You know this, and that's why since OFA launched its health reform campaign in June you've hosted 11,000 events in more than 2,500 towns in every single state and every single congressional district (UNRULY MOBS~! -ed.)...I am absolutely confident that we can get this done, but I want everybody to remember, this has never been easy....We are not going to give up now. We are going to get this done.

Now it's up to us to take the next step. This week, we need to make sure every member of Congress heads back to Washington hearing overwhelming support for change. Lies and fear must not have the last word about the health reform America so desperately needs. So here's what you can do: Find and attend a "Let's Get It Done: Health Insurance Reform Now" event near you. (STILL COMMUNITY ORGANIZING, HUH, BUTCH? -ed.)

There are thousands of events, in every part of the country. In some places, we're rallying near local congressional offices to deliver signatures of support from voters. In others we're meeting in high-traffic areas to offer passers-by an easy way to get the facts and call Congress, thanking those fighting for reform and urging others to stand with their constituents. Wherever you live, you can find a powerful way to show Congress, the media, and our neighbors that the American people have one clear message about health reform: Let's get it done.
And these sorry bastards say that we are the unruly mob. Well, f*ck them with whatever community tool they are organized with. They are organizing; and complaining when we peacably assemble. Who the f&*ck do they think they are?

It's time to take our country back. From the real Organized Mobamas.

(Oh, the pic is from @bluecollarmuse at twitpic; from a Recess Rally in Nashville Aug. 22.)

Titan's WR Chris Davis, busted for DUI Friday morning by... Officer Shawn Taylor.

You know, Officer Shawn Taylor, the same one who busted McNair. Twice. Then McNair's girlfriend, the day before she killed Steve.

Oh, this, left at PFT...

In Nashville, if you drink, and drive, you're going down. Period. No matter what is your name, your game or your color. You don't know anyone big-time enough to get you out of my brand of trouble. I'll destroy your life, and get you fired, divorced, cut, killed.

Cops rule, thugs and drunks (and near-drunks, and even .11 buzz drivers) drool.

Stay at home or call a cab, if you want to drink to excess. Or even drink enough to crack a smile. That cracked smile of yours won't get you anything but cuffs. There's no room on the streets for both of us.

Democrat Health Care Plans rebutted, point by point. (Slapping ObamaCare where it hurts!)

We see every day new proofs that we don't need no stinkin' "Health Care Reform", we need 'Health Insurance Reform'. At that link, Dr. Frank S. Rosenbloom, posting at American Thinker, rebuts the Top 11 Democrat Talking Points in re our current Health Care debate. These Democrat talking points are...
1. We need health care reform.
2. Free market health insurance has caused our current problem.
3. The evil and greedy health insurance companies have caused prices to skyrocket.
4. Nearly 50 million Americans are without health care.
5. A government option will lower costs and improve quality of care.
6. If you like your insurance and your doctor you can keep them.
7. Government medical insurance is more cost efficient.
8. The government option is necessary in order to prevent loss of insurance by individuals with medical problems.
9. The government option would ensure treatment for sick individuals who would otherwise have lost health care insurance. It would prevent lifetime limits on medical care.
10. A government option will not result in rationing.
11. A government option will simplify the payment for medical services.

You can click over to read Dr. Rosenbloom's thoughtful responses to those Democrat talking points.

I want to look a little closer at #10, the Death Panel (rationing) canard...
10. A government option will not result in rationing.

The major government options already in existence employ rationing every day. Prohibitively difficult preauthorization, statements of medical necessity, convoluted and complicated paperwork, and often impossible to meet requirements result in rationing on a huge scale. Furthermore, delay in payment, denial of payment for services already rendered and other tactics reduce access to medical care on a widespread basis. The government may not call this rationing but it is an insidious form of rationing that will be an integral part of any government plan. Medicare misuses and abuses its funding and is guilty of literally stealing from hospitals and physicians.

As an example of this thievery, due to a change in the corporate status of my practice I was required to apply for a new national provider identification number (NPI) in March of this year. Within several weeks, without exception, all of the private insurance companies had registered the number and were paying on claims. After five months and exhaustive work of over 140 hours by my office staff Medicare and Medicaid had still not paid on a single claim. Finally, on August 14, Medicare made their first payment on claims that were five months old. Yet, if we do not build Medicare within three months of the date of service, Medicare will not pay us at all. Government regulation and control permeates the entire medical system.
We needs only look at Medicare and Medicaid to see what's coming if we ever give the OK to governmentalize the rest of our health care system.

Oh, and this...

The ObamaCare Surrender Flag

Talk about having some unmitigated hatreds before; if ObamaCare Fails, lovely Sarah Palin will have played a substantial role in it's demise. Then, Katy bar the door! We'll have to beat Leftists back with broom handles and cold water. Their hatreds might even surpass those they displayed for George Booooooooosh! for eight years.

It'll bring a smile to my stone face. )

Democrats are censoring Republican's Congressional mail: the Democrat-controlled Franking Commission's not for being frank. So, what else is new?

Republicans Say Democrats Are Censoring More GOP Mail

House Republicans this week accused Democrats of censoring GOP mailings to constituents on a variety of subjects and of imposing uneven requirements on the minority party’s mail.

Democrats on the franking commission — which must approve all official mail — have blocked Republicans from using politically weighted descriptions of climate change legislation, the stimulus bill and other issues, according to e-mails obtained by Roll Call.
This, from Nancy Pelosi in 2006, mailed to her constituents at taxpayer expense:
“[Pelosi’s newsletter] said, ‘But too many here and across the nation are paying the price for the Republican Congressional majority’s special interest agenda,’” said Sean Brown, a spokesman for Barton.

The franking commission approved the Pelosi mailer on Aug. 3, 2006, three months before Democrats won back the majority.

These phrases, used by Republican House members, were rejected by Democrats on the franking commission:
cap and tax
Democratic” (Democrats want to substitute 'majority'...supposedly, one can't identify party affiliations)
so-called stimulus
government-run health care
Well, of course Democrats want to hide their true stances from the American public. Nothing new here. We are Not! Socialists! Now!; the majority of American citizens remain center-right.

Barack Obama, Joe Klein, and Sarah Palin: Scary, Pouty and Unerring

Dan Collins writes a nice teardown of Joe Klein's Time Magazine article "The GOP Has Become a Party of Nihilists", the gist of which I read as Joe Klein's whining and crying because good people, mostly Sarah Palin and some others in the conservative wing of the confused Republican Party, are actually standing in the way of far-Leftist chO!sen LEADER and MESSIAH Barack Hussein Obama. Joe, I suppose, wants everyone to ignore the past successes of the United States, forget our national heritage of capitalism, and allow Barack Hussein Obama to lead while reveling in his arguments of moral equivalency. Should we now join in BHO's direction, spending trillions of dollars we don't have, burdening our grandchildren with the tab? Are we supposed to help without commenting BHO sweep in his far-left secular progressive CHANGEs? After all, asks Joe Klein, who are we to argue with such enlightenment and deny PROGRESS?

Joe Klein has sampled that special hatred The Left is famous for, learned from 8 years of hating George Bush and and now directed primarily at Sarah Palin for her 'death camps' remark (said remark has turned Obama's Health Care mission on it's ear).

Thank you, Sarah Palin, for nailing Obama. That was nice, very nice.

Sometimes and on rare occasion there comes along a pointed, sharpened, creative excogitation, a ‘canard’ as Joe Klein names it, that is so illustrative of hidden desires that it will reduce the opposition to speechless blubbering and pointing, all the while realizing (without saying so of course) that said ‘canard’ has so so profoundly damaged their presentation in such a way that there is no good recovery. When such a skewering happens, they can only vent and express hates. Such a perfect shot was Sarah Palin’s remarks on Obama's health care plans being ‘death camps’, that .

Even if Sarah’s point was a bit flamboyant, it was close enough to home to cause a national shift in the debate. Even Joe Klein, while on with his poutrage, knows in his heart that Sarah caught a whiff of the stinking core that is the Obama Healthcare revamp, and never will Democrats be able to cork that foul odor back into containment; that foulness being a form of, to control skyrocketing costs that would definitely occur if a Canadian-style single-payer system were installed, Health Care rationing. Sarah shoots, she scores.

In the end, all these ‘enlightened’ far-left secular progressives (neo-socialists) can do is rail even more in their hate and fury, aimed at Sarah Palin, and at the conservative base of the GOP.
“Darning needle dragonfly, sew up these mouths so they not speak! Darning needle dragonfly, sew up these ears so they not hear!”
Keep up your incantations, Joe Klein. That’s all you have left, excepting picking up the pieces of your broken idol.

Also, happening yesterday, get you some of this...Obama's invoking religion, while speaking to a group of rabbis. Again, a pretense to religion as opportunity calls, a methodology that Obama's used as a tool to further his agenda, nothing more, as evidenced by his years spent at Trinity United Church of Christ under the tutelage of Black Liberation Theologist Pastor Dr. Jeremiah (America, your CHICKENS have come home to ROOST!) Wright, who he then threw under his massive bus during his campaign when it became politically necessary to do so.

Did Obama 'study' religion because he believes in God and desires to be at peace with his soul? Not likely. Obama embraces religion and pretends to belief only when it's necessary to make political hay, to wit...
"We are God's partners in matters of life and death," Obama said, according to Moline (paging Sarah Palin...), quoting from the Rosh Hashanah prayer that says that in the holiday period, it is decided "who shall live and who shall die." [emphasis mine]
Keep digging, Barack Obama. We'll keep watching, and eventually we will see you fail.

OMG, SKANKS WIN! (what I'd like to see: Mercy Sues Liskula Cohen for stealing her Title)

Read the story here....

Yesterday a U.S. Federal judge ruled that Google must turn over the name of an anonymous blogger who took a severe disliking to aging supermodel Liskula Cohen. The ripples emanating from the ruling could potentially wash over every member of the blogosphere (including those who delight in anonymously depositing nasty comments on blogs -- you know who you are).

The backstory: In August 2008, some soon-to-not-be-anonymous blogger (STNBAB) created a Google blog called "Skanks in NYC" (no longer available, but archived at Mahalo). The sole topic of this short-lived blog: Liskula Cohen, a zygomatically-gifted Canuck who has graced the covers of Vogue, Elle, and other magazines probably not in the bathrooms of most InfoWorld readers.

Among other things, the STNBAB called Cohen "a psychotic, lying, whoring, still going to clubs at her age, skank." He (she?) also called Cohen "an old hag." I bet that's the one that really stung.

Hmmmph.

He should've stuck to commentary on public figures, political sorts like, dirty socialist Obama, Skank Pelosi and 'Icky Bod Crane' Harry Reid. It's hard to crack down on commentary on these crazy politicians.

Oh, my favorite skank of all time?

Iconography: Bill Whittle schools the Republican Party; Obama's O! Logo usurping the Presidential Seal (and becoming more and more troubling)

An excellent resource video for those interested in Obama's people-mind-control methodologies. Barack Obama uses his iconographic "O" Obama Logo to completely usurp the venerable Presidential Seal. He's using it in place of our traditional U.S.A. icons; personalizing his own "O" is seen as not only self-aggrandization but useful in keeping his 'community' organized around that "O"ne clear symbol. It's everywhere.

Dangerous, that; remember the symbolism of the past? The Rising Sun of Japan, and that National Socialist Party of Germany?

Bill Whittle also mentions the danger Barack Obama faces; using that logo (and others) against him.

F'rinstance: Drudge ran a White Flag of Surrender (linked to an article decrying Obama's backing off of the Single Payer option). I changed it just a bit, after seeing this video.

That's the spirit. What's good for the goose, and all of that.

Obama JOKER artist unmasked: 20-yo Chicagoan, Pali-American Firas Alkhateeb. Now that is asploding Obama's NARRATIVES!

Via a Twitttererer, a link to Instapundit gives up this breaking LA Times article...
When cryptic posters portraying President Obama as the Joker from "Batman" began popping up around Los Angeles and other cities, the question many asked was, Who is behind the image?

Was it an ultra-conservative grassroots group or a disgruntled street artist going against the grain?

Nope, it turns out, just a 20-year-old college student from Chicago.

Bored during his winter school break, Firas Alkhateeb, a senior history major at the University of Illinois, crafted the picture of Obama with the recognizable clown makeup using Adobe's Photoshop software.
The kid hid it on Flickr, I guess from TIME magazine (the source of the original photo). Someone else found it there and ran with the 'Socialism' theme (that someone is still safely hidden away).

Actually, the person who found the Flickr image did a better job promoting the thing than did Alkhateeb, skilfully removing the TIME magazine logo and affixing the nice shade of blue to Obama's image (the Smurf look) and posting the thing to public view. That took some ballz, really; anyone can create pshopped political images (just look around here) but to get them going viral and nationwide takes a bit more...adept manipulations.

Firas worried about lawsuits. Naaaah, that's fair use, and political speech. I'd like to see some azzhole sue you for that (FLICKR, the cowards, did take his page down after this started to break).

Well, who wants to get in the way of a Chicago thug politician and millions of worshipping Obamanoids? Not to mention SEIU and ACORN thugs? Maybe the kid was right to be worried.

He might want to hire a bodyguard. Or better, move to Texas, where he would be an instant Hero.

Obama Retreats from Single Payer Option: Far-Left Liberals C R Y !

Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you, all of the people who descended en masse on the exasperated Democrats (and Republicans) during August's Town Hall meetings. Oh, but it's good to hear even Huffpo's Michael Brenner bashing Obama...
Let's face the harsh reality -- Obama has blown health care reform, big time. The opportunity of a lifetime has been squandered. The most recent revelations about backroom deals with Pharma and the other vendors of medical services drops the curtain on any hope of serious change in our costly and inefficient non-system. This is a painful admission to make. Not only does the country remain handicapped by grossly sub-par arrangements for health delivery, we also are burdened with a president who has been discredited as a progressive dedicated to a betterment of how we conduct public business. [emphasis mine -ed.]
Thank you, Saul Alinsky, for showing us the way. Finally, we are fighting fire with fire...

Obama foes turn to ’60s radical for tactical tips

Opponents of Barack Obama’s healthcare proposals are using the tactics of Saul Alinksy, the legendary leftwing activist who helped inspire the US president when he was a young community organiser, says Dick Armey, head of Freedom Works, a group fighting against universal healthcare.
...

What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander,” said Mr Armey

...

“What I think of Alinsky is that he was very good at what he did but what he did was not good,” Mr Armey said. “We don’t organise people to turn up at these town-hall meetings – we don’t provide buses to get them there. But we tell them about the meetings and we suggest good questions they could ask.”
Next up on the Obama push to salvage his sinking fortunes, specifically this asploding Health Care socialization-program he so desperately desires? How about a little 'Crisis Management', Rahm - O! style! Dick Armey predicts...
In September or October there will be a hyped up outbreak of the swine flu which they’ll say is as bad as the bubonic plague to scare the bed-wetters to vote for healthcare reform,” said Mr Armey. “That is the only way they can push something on to the American people that the American people don’t want.
Rahm Emanuel is a lefty fanatic, as is Howard Dean. From American Thinker, an exposé of Rahm the fanatic, and of ObamaCare...
The looming ObamaCare fiasco is a classic example of a public policy plan that has never been weighed against the alternatives. Even liberal economists are saying it. Any consistent reader of the Wall Street Journal knows more about healthcare options than the Obama administration's "experts" do. That's why ObamaCare fails so badly against choices that are more practical, far less expensive, and much more humane and respectful to all concerned. O-Care is simply not a result of a balanced, fair-minded assessment of human needs and costs.

On the contrary. It is a plan so single-minded, so monomaniacal, so disruptive, grandiose and blind to the alternatives that it is even now crashing in the minds of a shell-shocked public.
And Howard Dean, that Liberal's Progressive's Ghod? YEEEEEEEEEEARRRRGHHHHH! Get your whine on...
Dean argued that a public option is fair and said there must be such a choice in any genuine shake up of the existing system.

"You can't really do health reform without it," he said.

So, now, what's next for health reform? Let's take advantage of this setback, and introduce some real reform.

Republicans need to introduce serious Health care reform, starting with a Texas model Tort Reform option. That's an option what would be music to my ears.

"The Gilly" Gilliard Grant Awarded at the Nutroots (DKOS) Convention again this year. Again, I salute the winner!

This year, Shannyn Moore, a lefty Palin-hater in Alaska, wins the coveted "Gilly" Award. Why Shannyn Moore, I wonder? Read on...

This 'Gilliard Grant' was created in honor of dead liberal blogger Steve Gilliard (whose only claim to fame was his vituperative rants against President Bush, his support of anything advancing socialism and increasing social welfare, oh, and of course Gilliard achieved nationwide fame (or infamy if you will) for attacking and photoshopping Michael Steele, the then Lt. Governor of Maryland and now RNC Chairman.

Why not give this award to Linda Kellen Biegel, the 'Celtic Diva', that lefty Alaskan blogger-DNC-operative famous for photoshopping Trig Palin?

Wouldn’t it have been a hoot if Linda had won "The Gilly, an award ‘honoring’ a lefty blogger whose only claim to fame was photoshopping Michael Steele?

Tell you what, Shannyn, share that award with Linda. She looks like she needs a little love.

Last year's award went to some other crappy liberal blogger whose name I forget (but it's all posted here).

This statuette would be unrecognizable without my photoshop fix (adding Gilliard's photoshop of Michael Steele to the it's head). Mostly because Gilliard was never that skinny; you'd have to fashion a bowling ball with legs to make that statuette a reasonable facsimile of Steve...

(Another reason to have given this award to Linda! Besides the photoshoppery, Linda is about the same size as Steve. Well, maybe a couple hundred stone lighter, but still... )

John Edwards Ready to Admit to Fathering Rielle Hunter's 'fatherless' child Frances.

John Edwards, on Bill Clinton: "I think this president has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen." Now, we take it up a notch...

Elizabeth Edwards, last week, on Daily KOS (that's a not a link to KOS, btw) :
"This was our private matter, and I frankly wanted it to be private because as painful as it was I did not want to have to play it out on a public stage as well. Because of a recent string of hurtful and absurd lies in a tabloid publication, because of a picture falsely suggesting that John was spending time with a child it wrongly alleged he had fathered outside our marriage, our private matter could no longer be wholly private."
Looks like to the bitter end, John Edwards has continued to deny being little Frances Hunter's father. Now, after a Raleigh Grand Jury dragged Rielle across country to testify under oath (about whether or not John Edwards paid his good friend Andrew Young campaign funds to 'take the heat', and the paternity rap), things are asploding rather quickly.

Sorry, John, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Oh, and John, I hear there's a nice motor yacht for sale; just for you, named the Monkey Business Silky Pony Business.

YES! 72-yo Harlem Business Owner Kills 2, Wounds 2 Would-Be Robbers. With a Winchester 12-ga Pump Shotgun. UPDATE: Photo: Dead Perp on the Sidewalk!

This is exactly what criminals need to see happening in New York City: an armed citizen protecting himself and his employees, using deadly force if needed. From the New York Times (which breathlessly exclaims, "the gun wasn't registered!!!11!1!!!"...

Business Owner Fires on 4 Robbers, Killing 2, Police Say

A 72-year-old Harlem business owner used a shotgun to blast four men who tried to rob his restaurant-supply business Thursday afternoon, killing two and sending two others to the hospital with gunshot wounds, the New York City police said.

The business, the Kaplan Brothers Blue Flame Corporation, at 523 West 125th Street, near Amsterdam Avenue, sells commercial gas and electric ranges, as well as parts and repairs.

The police said that the four would-be robbers entered the business and announced that they were robbing it. One of them took out a Glock 9-mm pistol and started to pistol-whip a 33-year-old employee inside the store. The owner then took out a shotgun and opened fire, striking the four men.

Public records identify the owner as Charles J. Augusto Jr., 72.

The police said they did not believe the shotgun — a Winchester 12-gauge pump shotgun with a pistol grip handle — had been registered, as city law requires.
I'll follow this one.

The old guy should be given a medal.

UPDATE

From CBS's Crimesider Blog. Good news: "Grampa Shotgun" won't be charged.

Democrats STUNNED by opposition. Why can't we UN-AMERICAN PROLES just co-operate and ROLL OVER? (After all, They are our BETTERS, and they KNOW IT!)

From Washington Examiner's Michael Barone...

Democrats flummoxed by health care protests

This morning we were treated to a smug USA Today opinion article by Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer. “Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American,” they write. Actually, drowning out a speaker—by the boos some Democratic members of Congress have been greeted with or by the loud cheering that greeted Barack Obama so often during the 2008 campaign season—is not un-American or illegitimate. Preventing someone from speaking altogether—drowning them out permanently—is rude, boorish and often self-defeating; but not un-American. But the more interesting part of the article is not the headline quote, but the oozing condescension toward so many American voters toward the bill Pelosi and Hoyer assert the House “will” pass in September. “Health care is complex.”
Much too complex for simpletons like us to understand; we must rely on the high-and-mighty elected to decide for us. Let's just shut up, continue to mill about, grazing on the green grass so well tended and provided to us by our betters. There's no need for us to complain! Our betters in Washington have all the answers! Just ask 'em.

So, that explains why they are stunned that some of us are not being nice sheeple; that we argue and protest and picket and complain and harass our Representatives at these Townhall forums. Why can't we be just like they were during the 8 years of Bush? You know, quiet, unresponsive, get-along at all costs? Isn't that the way you remember it?

Wait...

Hillary Clinton slips, reveals her core hatreds

Posted by Karl at HotAir...
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton compared Nigeria’s corruption and electoral problems with the 2000 Florida presidential election recount during a town hall meeting today in Abuja, Nigeria.

Answering a question about Nigeria’s recent election, Clinton said, “In 2000, our presidential election came down to one state where the brother of the man running for President was the governor of the state. So we have our problems too.”
The reaction Hillary espouses is reflective of the core hatreds those on the Left have for those who are not. Al Gore, the Broken Messiah, failed to win his home state, Tennessee; if he had, Florida’s vote count would have been moot.

Gore was immensely popular during his two U.S. Senate terms, but while following as V.P., on Bill Clinton’s coattails, he completely and utterly aligned with left-leaning politics that weren’t representative of average Tennesseans, and emerged as a globalist with misanthropic leanings. And, in 1992, he wrote that terrible “Earth in the Balance”, a warning precursor to his brewing envirowhackism. (Oh, Tennessee is my home state, and I’m proud to have helped defeat Big Al; those of us in the NRA should be given credit for getting out the vote, campaigning tirelessly and eventually beating this bit of Human Pretense.)

So, when Hillary or any other member of the New Left slips and occasionally lets out ’secret feelings’, we should immediately highlight that ’slip’ as pointing to their core beliefs. Thanks, Karl, for getting this out.

Witch's Hunt: How Janet Napolitano's Dept of Homeland Security (with the full backing of Barack Obama) chose her favorite "Rightwing Extremists"

Just in today, from Americans for Limited Government (ALG)...
In April of this year, the Obama Administration deliberately – and deceptively -- used a frighteningly kooky website to condemn tens of millions of innocent Americans who have fought for their country, cherish the sanctity of life, or stand up for the 10th Amendment.

There is simply no other way to put it.

In its now-discredited “Report on Rightwing Extremism,” Obama’s Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security warned every police department in the country that veterans, right-to-lifers, and states’ rights advocates were potential terrorists who warranted intense scrutiny. In response to that report, Americans for Limited Government filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request demanding to know how DHS had arrived at such a chilling conclusion.

The response from DHS is stunning.

As it turns out, Janet Napolitano’s DHS did not conduct even the most rudimentary research or investigation. It did no statistical analysis. It did not even bother to interview those it accused and allow them the opportunity to defend themselves.

Instead, in what should send shockwaves throughout the nation, DHS functionaries simply cruised the Internet (in tin-foil hats, no doubt) and relied entirely upon some of the most disreputable sites on the web to stage its attack upon its “rightwing” targets.

One of those 'Right Wing Extremist' sites is WhatDoesItMean dot com, a whacker site that features images of Noah's Ark, angels, dragons, unicorns, Masonic symbols, 9-11 Truther logos ... you name it, if it's whaaako, that site's got it. From that one site, lovely and gracious Janet Napolitano decides that everyone to her immediate right is whacky. Barack Obama obviously agrees.

Bill Wilson, ALG President, calls on Janet Napolitano to resign immediately. Well, that's not going to happen with our current President and Congress, because they are all to the left, with Obama, and most of 'em support whatever lovely Janet has to say. There will be no justice or fairness in Washington until 2010, when the mid term elections bring in some needed CHANGE.

Can you imagine the hostility the forces of the Left would unleash if, say, a right-wing sort went to Huffington Post and chronicled their fanaticisms, and tried to fashion government policy from that visit? Or, even farther to the left (but not by much) those bottom-feeders at Daily KOS, Eschaton (Atrios), Sadly, No!, Democratic Underground, any of those left-freaker sites?

Another site lovely Janet Reno visits (oops, I meant Janet Napolitano, didn't I?) is the extremist Southern Poverty Law Center, who sees white sheets and burning crosses everywhere they look. If they can't find any, they will invent 'em. They serve no useful purpose; like the Klan, they have outlived their usefulness. Now, they are simply a tool of the far left, and feed Janet Reno Napolitano's wildest dreams. What she should be investigating in some of Obama's illegal and unconstitutional CZAR 's.

I hope Barack Obama gets a leash for some of his high-level 'pets'. Lovely Janet could wear pink, don't you think?

The HoMeBoY NyTe SyTeS (a 2001 gag that I just discovered)...

...thanks to SondraK.

Now equipping the SEIU and ACORN forces!

Click on the picture for the story.

Otherwise, I'm very busy, can't do anything substantial today. I'm concerned that our left-leaning government is shatting where we eat, over reaching their perceived mandate for CHANGE.

We'll just have to...keep up the pressures. And hope that some reasonable Democrats will revolt against their far-left leadership.

Reasonable Democrats? Heh. Good luck with that.

John Dingell confronted at a Michigan Townhall: Mike Sola's clash with Dingell earns him some late-night Obama-thug visits.

I so admire this man, Mike Sola. Must-watch video, at Breitbart TV.

Congressman John Dingell, an 83-yo 52-year, 27-term Michigan Congresscritter is a conceited old bugger, isn't he? Dingell is a poster child for term limits. Long ago this old battleaxe should've been put out to pasture. He's been socializing and buggering our Constitution since 1955.

Mike Sola, in that linked video, recommends that 'every American' read the New York Post op-ed by Betsy McCaughey, 'Deadly Doctors', one of whom, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (yes, that's Rahm Emanuel's brother) is one 'Doctor' I wouldn't want washing my feet; but our President has installed him in his White House.

Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).

Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).

Yes, that's what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.

...

Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. '96).

Translation: Don't give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson's or a child with cerebral palsy.

He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" (Lancet, Jan. 31).

Mike Sola argued forcefully with the old dodger Dingell; something Republican Congressmen obviously don't have the cojones to do.

Say, Mike, how about challenging that old coot in 2010? You are the sort of Representative that's needed: someone who has purpose and convictions, and isn't afraid of wolves. You might not get a lot of votes in socialist Looterville (Detroit), but you'd be fun to watch, confronting that old leftist and giving him a piece of our minds.
