This image, and this article in the NYT point out BHO's only redeeming factor to the current crop of far-left Democrats: his ability to stir up ('community organize') people who will succumb to easy rhetoric over understanding the hard facts and principles that've allowed us to thrive as a nation for over 200 years. Here we see the ideologically naive set at a large University going gaga over the same simple, tell-me-nothing-but-promise-me-much rhetoric as was demonstrated during BHO's 2008 campaign.
No matter what ideology this Obama wind-up would speak: even if he changed his mind and became a hard-right conservative (HA!) he would still be able to wow crowds, no matter what his point of view. Of course, few such people over history have spoken for the good. Barack Obama, given his positional far-left ideological rhetoric that's designed to CHANGE this nation from a Republic to a neo-fascist far-left euro-socialist entity that bears little resemblance to it's early, strong, healthy-growth and WE ARE AMERICA! stages isn't one of the good ones. We who realize what's really happening see his return to full-strength campaign mode as troubling.
No word of individuals fainting in the crowd, or of the open hero-worship as we saw during the 2008 campaign as yet, but let's keep an eye open. Demagogues have their ways of 'community organizing' that are remarkably effective, and permanently damaging.

ReplyDeleteNowhere did Joe, in his defense of O!, mention the debacle of ObamaCare. In his support of DemStim - TARP, he fails to mention those monies were shuffled to mostly Democrat interests. Also fails to mention those monies were fake, false, phony, printed monies that will have to be paid back, with interest, by our children and grandchildren, unless we default on them, a prospect that's increasingly likely.
As for the auto bailouts, we should've allowed Chrysler and GM to bankrupt, so as to restructure and cut their ties with the Unions. But that would've deprived Obama and Dems of much of their support, not to mention a good crop of their ground thugs.
No, Obama's economic policies were targeted to give to his 'friends', and take from his 'enemies'.
We won't see any real economic growth until his teefs are pulled, and we will likely have to default on our obligations even if the GOP takes over in November and has the courage necessary to slash everything Obama has done, to defund the Obama agenda.
I'm thinking they won't, so get ready. Fun times! ahead, of which you've never experienced or contemplated in your pampered and exclusive lifetime, and for which you are ill-prepared; you will very likely and abruptly find yourself living at rock-bottom, and that to be a very difficult and unpleasant experience.

BTW, to Bush's and Dem congress's credit, TARP looks like it will be extremely successful for the taxpayers in the long run, possibly even MAKE money ... although, as the above survey shows, among the ignorant teabaggers, TARP is "Obama's socialist work of the devil."

But TARP was approved by newly-elected Barack Obama, who, remember, had the audacity to form a new title for himself: "Office of the President-Elect". He couldn't wait to get in and start screwing up the American economy.
