Mr. Obama. We might come along for the ride; but not just ANYWHERE.

...particularly, not on YOUR street.

...did I leave a 'c' out of that ?

The president does realize he’s elected to govern all of the voters, not just those who get their news from MSNBC, right?
Sit on this, Mr. Prezzidint.

Massive Attack's "Atlas Air" video has leftists remembering Wikileak's Apache engagement...

...video, the illegal release of which caused massive lefty butt-hurt.

First, the new Massive Attack "Atlas Air" video, an excellent bit of CGI that reminds me much of Pink Floyd's "The Wall - The Movie", only with ten times the animation quality. Remember the flying eagle that took a chunk of the living flesh of the earth in 'The Wall'? see if you aren't reminded of that.

Brand new Massive Attack official music video for "Atlas Air". Directed by Edouard Salier, the video for Massive Attack's Atlas Air is a CGI feast that explores the subject of rendition flights. It's a prequel to the headtrip of "Splitting the Atom". Their new album is called "Heligoland."
This next video, released by Wikileaks last April, explains the depicted Apache gunship engagement as follows...
Wikileaks has obtained and decrypted this previously unreleased video footage from a US Apache helicopter in 2007. It shows Reuters journalist Namir Noor-Eldeen, driver Saeed Chmagh, and several others as the Apache shoots and kills them in a public square in Eastern Baghdad. They are apparently assumed to be insurgents. After the initial shooting, an unarmed group of adults and children in a minivan arrives on the scene and attempts to transport the wounded. They are fired upon as well. The official statement on this incident initially listed all adults as insurgents and claimed the US military did not know how the deaths ocurred. Wikileaks released this video with transcripts and a package of supporting documents on April 5th 2010 on http://collateralmurder.com
Certainly a shame when civilians get wasted, but we were are at war, and that means we kill people and break things.

Wrong place, wrong time. A shame, but look at human history going back; there's not any period of wartime when innocents stayed alive.

These journalists didn't take precautions, should've stayed with our soldiers, protected. Al Gore was a photographer during the Vietnam War. You can be sure he didn't stray very far from the guys with the M-16's. Stay smart, stay alive.

Cry all you like, lefties. You may soon get a chance to see this for yourself, close up and personal. One never knows when one's nation might collapse.

Can YOU surive for more than 10 minutes if THE SH*T hits THE FAN ?

This is worth your reading. NOT a Halloween horror story; but a possible future that becomes more likely as we become less...civilized. Quoting at length, because it's good stuff...
Over the years, many people have told us that WTSHTF, they are coming to our place in the country. When people say things like this, we hear, "...so that you can take care of me." This document is presented as a source of information for those who might need a realignment of their expectations, a clarification of ours or both. It should serve as a harsh wake up call for anyone who plans to flee to someone else's survival retreat should the need arise.

If you have neglected, failed or refused to complete your plans for survival, here are things you need to know, should you decide to depend on someone who has been more diligent.
  • No One Will Provide You With Shelter
  • No One Will Feed You
  • No One Will Provide Drinking Water
  • No One Will Protect You
  • No One Will Provide Medical Attention
Did the Children of Israel expect Moses to provide all of these things for them? Nope! He started walking and they had to keep up. Everyone carried what they needed and everyone did everything they needed to do to survive.

Let's take a look at what your life might be like WTSHTF.

For any number of reasons, you lose electricity without notice and your water stops running. (Public water supplies need electricity) When people eventually realize the outage extends beyond their immediate circle of travel, they will panic and stores will be looted. Stores cannot be protected because...the police departments have no electricity. Gas stations will be closed when they cannot deliver fuel because...they have no electricity. It's funny how that works, isn't it? As more people begin to panic they will assemble into angry mobs armed with guns, knives, baseball bats and sticks. No police presence means no protection for you or anyone else. The police have raced home to protect their families.

You are now officially unemployed with no benefits, you cannot withdraw your worthless money from the bank, you cannot make a phone call, listen to the radio or watch television. Your stove, microwave oven, refrigerator and Internet connection are no longer working. You cannot run to Wal-Mart's camping section to pick up a sleeping bag or kerosene lantern. Your car has less than a half tank of gasoline and your terrified wife and children are begging you to do something.

A horde of lawless desperadoes is making its way down your street, hurling rocks and bricks through windows, setting cars on fire and breaking into homes in search of food and supplies. Through sheer numbers and merciless force, they overwhelm every feeble attempt at defense or escape, leaving death and destruction in their path. Like killer bees, they swarm your home and discover that it is vacant because you somehow managed to escape, either through a miracle, proper planning or dumb luck. They ravage what was once your comfortable home sweet home, laying waste years of financial sacrifice and hard work as you are driving or hiking or crawling down the highway or back roads to The Promise Land, your friend's place in the country.

For the sake of this frightening glimpse into your new reality, let's assume that you and your family somehow beat the one in a million odds and successfully escape the chaos and anarchy in the city. Exhausted and emotionally paralyzed with fear and anxiety, you eventually make your way to an overgrown pasture bordered by woods, provided that you were not attacked and killed on your journey or shot as an intruder when you arrive, which is always an unfortunate possibility.

So, in summary:
  • There is no comfortable shelter waiting for you
  • There is no water
  • There is no food
  • There is no security, no protection at all
  • The mobs will eventually make their way out into the countryside and find you
Presented as a public service. You're welcome.

Now go out there and get something done for yourself. The starving big-city cannibals could be only days, weeks, months away.

Titans now at 5-2, Kenny Britt's Karma Lounge bar fight notwithstanding.

Kenny Britt, benched from starting Sunday afternoon because of a bad night at the Karma Lounge, finally got the nod, came off the bench and with three quick passes from Kerry Collins scores 3 TD's and puts away the flummoxed Eagles, who at 4-2 weren't an easy mark. Not easy, like the Denver Broncos, who were face-planted at home 59-14 by (key laugh track) the Oakland Raiders.

The Titans are PFT- Power Ranked #4. Denver is clinging to #32 (I mention Denver because Denver came in here and stole one from us, and that pussowakowabunga coach of theirs, Josh McDaniels, cried like a whiny biatch because one of his players got a little banged up. He'll be lucky if Jeff Fisher gives him a job after he is summarily fired, as Fish is wont to do to down-on-their-luck coaches. Remember, our OC Mike Heimerdinger was at Denver for awhile and could well be summoned back there to replace shiny-whiny McDaniels. Wouldn't it be a hoot if they swapped roles ? )

Kenny had an altercation at the Karma Lounge last Thursday night, a bar fight that didn't get him put in jail (Metro Police are still investigating - pursuing misdemeanor assault charges). Jeff Fisher personally investigated at the scene of the crime, and didn't find enough evidence to do anything more than bench Britt for almost a half.

No word on whether Fish was investigating the lovely young ladies working at the Karma Lounge. He might or might not have seen these three...

"They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

«harrrumph» sit in the back «cough».

In any event, next Sunday will find the Titans in San Diego, hoping to win another AFC matchup. That might be tough: SD has a history of knotting up Fisher's teams at the worst possible times.

Just a few more day, guys. President Cloward-Piven rests his troops.

President Cloward-Piven rests his troops.

Friday we'll know what the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has to say about DOJ Holder's pets...
On Election Day 2008, Maruse Heath, the leader of Philadelphia's New Black Panther Party, stood in front of a neighborhood polling place, dressed in a paramilitary uniform.

Within hours, an amateur video showing Heath, slapping a black nightstick and exchanging words with the videographer, had aired on TV and ricocheted across the nation.

Among those who saw the footage was J. Christian Adams, who was in his office in the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division in Washington.

"I thought, 'This is wrong, this is not supposed to happen in this country," Adams said. "There are armed men in front of a polling place, and I need to find out if they violated the law, because in my mind there's a good chance that they did."

The actions of the black nationalist and the white lawyer have mushroomed into a fierce debate over the government's enforcement of civil rights laws - a dispute that will be aired next week when the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights unveils findings from a year-long investigation.

...

The [Obama - Holder DOJ's] dismissal triggered outrage from conservatives and congressional Republicans, two internal Justice Department inquiries and the investigation by the conservative-controlled civil rights commission. The debate has thrust Eric H. Holder Jr., the nation's first African American attorney general and long the target of Republican attacks, into an unwelcome spotlight.
Just in time.

Got nightsticks ?

Deborah Frisch, Ph.D., JAILED for Repeated Internet Harassment and Other Nasty Behaviors.

Finally the long wait is over for Jeff Goldstein and countless others who were stalked and harassed by this Bush-hating lefty loon.

Ms. Doctor of Decision Science Deb Frisch, who once had gainful employment in Arlington, VA in a cushy government job, earns herself 90 days in jail (a sentence that's most likely without any early release); 5 years of probation that includes NO internet or online activities AT ALL; her Probation Officer can search without any further warrants her home and any place she visits that might allow her unlawful internet activity. Oh, and mandatory psychological counseling. For the Bush Derangement Syndrome, aggravated, that was her first step to the dark side.

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? If you are a Ph.D. with an unusual and uncontrollable internet addiction, and have a hatred of anything George Bush and a desire to DEMONIZE your fellow citizens who happen to not share your twisted leftist beliefs, then by all means study this woman and the path she took to complete and utter failure. It all started with picking an online fight with Jeff Goldstein.

Good riddance for 90 days plus 5 years to Ms. Frisch. May she serve as a warning to any other mad dog, Ph.D. or otherwise, who has this sort of progressive mental disease: get help whilst you still can.

Welcome to Nevada, Mr. President: A Look Ahead at 2012's Campaign Ads

Who can forget this, BHO's most dramatic proclamation, made prior to the election in 2008?

"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal. This was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last best hope on EARTH!"

Seems so blatantly false and cheesy now, doesn't it?

Sharron Angle welcomed Barack Hussein Obama to Nevada with this ad just a couple days ago. BHO is on hand to try to save Harry Reid from his fate, from an ignominious electoral defeat both for him and for his President.

Let's hope BHO fails, yet again.

The Obama Experiment Has Failed, Because Businesses Won't Hire. Who knew?

Silly Democrats. Growing government doesn't solve economic problems.

The $814 Billion Democrat Stimulus plan was supposed to create jobs, jobs, jobs and keep our unemployment rate under 8%. Instead, the money found it's way to Democrat cronies, including the Unions, who will always work to support more Democrats, and unemployment has surged to 10%. In Nevada, home of Harry Reid, unemployment is 15%. And growing.

Unions are failing the Democrats. The far-left NYT doesn't think the rank and file of the Unions are as staunch as their leadership. Despite spending millions more than the Chamber of Commerce, their efforts aren't producing the expected results this cycle...
The giant union of government workers, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees is promising to spend a record $66 million this year on get-out-the-vote efforts, voter education and political advertisements. That includes $16 million that the union recently took out of an emergency fund, and it comes on top of $21 million it spent last year, mainly on state and local races. The union says it has spent $17 million on broadcast advertisements so far this year.

Reflecting a growing dispute between unions and the Chamber of Commerce, the public employees’ union is arguing that its campaign spending this year is less than the Chamber’s $75 million, even though the union has spent $87 million over the two-year election cycle.
One thing you can be sure of, bank your unemployment check on, you Union members: Democrats ALWAYS want more Government. Businesses who pay your bloated salaries don't like Democrats, and won't hire when Democrats are in control. How's that Democrat plan working out for you, Union out-of-worker ?

John Thune (R-SD), in a hard-hitting GOP Weekly Address, speaks to Americans who will listen.

"Government cannot be openly hostile to American businesses, and expect them to grow and create jobs."

Where have I heard that before? And just who are these people in businesses who are thwarting the will of the 'President of the Grand Speechifying and the Twitching Legs' Barack Obama?

John Galt, maybe ?

Deborah Ellen Frish, far-left crazee loon, she hate me.

...and nothing makes me happier than that, really. Could be worse: can you imagine the type of person you'd have to be for this...creature...to like you?

This is a screenshot of one of her posts yesterday referring to me, captured on my g00gle reader. She's already taken it down; she'll post something vile and pernicious, let it sit there for awhile, then take it down thinking there's no one who noticed it. Dumb Ph.Dumb doesn't realize that g00gle is forever. My g00gle RSS reader picks up the post, no matter if she only leaves it up for 5 seconds.

Her link was to my About: Me page (that big rock is only accessible by boat, Deb, wanna take a ride? here, hold my anchor... ).

I think what set her off (besides the bomb-head pshop) was a comment I left on the At-Large legal blog, because she's combining two hate attacks into one post. Mr. Lat is the lawyer who wrote the post that caused her some massive butt-hurt.

But seriously, this Frish person is far deranged. You can begin to understand why I keep my identity cloaked to the best of my ability; vile people like Deb are out there and in quantity, and I suspect that if this Republic undergoes more hardships brought on by far-left Social Democrat pendulum-pushing, things are going to get much worse.

So, Deb, when you go to jail Monday, here's hoping some other equally vile, evil, wicked, mean and naasty person takes a slap or two at your fat head. Couldn't happen to a nicer person.

So, NPR, you've lynched Juan Williams I see.

Aren't you proud of your 'Liberal' politically correct staunchness?

Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Barack Obama couldn't be reached for comment.

...except for a faint, fading "LOOK! over there! BUNNIES!", we'll likely hear nothing from them. After all, they have to follow their given, assigned paths and look over there!, at the OTHER. At FOX News.

Moe Tucker of Velvet Underground: Tea Partyer, a Better Maureen!

After my prior post featuring Maureen Dowd (D, Jealous Spinster) we need to read of a much better Maureen. Moe Tucker, Maureen Tucker, gave up an interview to Mike Appelstein in regards to her Leftist-shattering butthurt-making YouTube appearance at a Tea Party event in Georgia...

The interview...
Mike Appelstein: In the now-infamous videotape, you indicated that you're furious about the way we're being led toward socialism and "incredible waste of money" being spent. Could you elaborate a bit on these sentiments?

Moe Tucker: No country can provide all things for all citizens. There comes a point where it just isn't possible, and it's proven to be a failure everywhere it's been tried. I am not oblivious to the plight of the poor, but I don't see any reason/sense to the idea that everyone has to have everything, especially when the economy is so bad. I see that philosophy as merely a ploy to control.

My family was damn poor when I was growing up on Long Island. There were no food stamps, no Medicaid, no welfare. If you were poor, you were poor. You didn't have a TV, you didn't have five pairs of shoes, you didn't have Levi's, you didn't have a phone; you ate Spam, hot dogs and spaghetti. We all survived! I am not against food stamps, welfare or Medicaid, if only they would oversee these programs properly!

I am also against the government taking over the student loan program, car companies, bailouts and the White House taking control of the census (what the hell is that all about?); [about] any First Lady telling (I know, I know, "suggesting to") us what to eat, the mayor of New York City declaring "no salt" (screw you, pal!), the mayor/city commissioners of Anytown, U.S.A. declaring you can't fly a flag, can't say the Pledge of Allegiance and can't sing the National Anthem. I'm against a President dismissing any and all who dare to disagree; the water being turned off in (central) California, at [an] area where they've turned off the water because they want to save a one-inch fish -- turning that huge area of farming land into another dustbowl -- the insipid start of food supply control methinks! The government deciding what kind of lightbulbs we can use (all you "think green" people, three objections to this b.s.: 1) Those bulbs give off the light of a candle; 2) They're very expensive; 3) They have mercury in them - how the hell are we supposed to dispose of them?).

I am against the government now thinking about bailing out unions. The unions made the contracts which include insane pensions; the U.S. government didn't. I'm against the government closing down offshore drilling in the Gulf with one hand and with the other giving (lending?) Brazil money to help them do way deeper offshore drilling -- rather curious. I'm against a government that will not defend our borders; and on and on and on.

As a lead-in to the next part of your question: Today it was announced that there would be no cost of living increase for Social Security recipients because "there's no inflation." I'd love to know what makes them think that! Where the hell do they shop? Prices have been rising for over a year. Inflation is a natural happening, I know. But why is it that suddenly food prices don't go up two or three or five cents, but instead they're going up 40, 50, 60 cents at a clip? No inflation my ass!

My anger stems from the unbelievable (criminal!) waste of money on pork and earmarks. It drives me nuts to see that X millions are being allocated to build a turtle tunnel, a donkey museum, a salamander crossing, etc, etc, etc. Billions spent every friggin' year on totally unnecessary crap so that these Congressbums can tell their constituents that they "brought home the bacon" and get re-elected. I'm sorry, but I don't want to pay for any Congress SOB's vote buying, and sure as hell not in these very very worrisome times!

What specifically about the current administration do you disagree with?

I disagree with spending / borrowing / printing -- damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!  I disagree with the "we won" attitude, which is the cowardly way of saying fuck you! I disagree with an administration that for twenty months blames Bush. If the President and his minions are so damn smart, why didn't they know the severity of the situation? The president has actually said (and I saw it on video) that they didn't know!

What would you like to see change?

The current administration!
A Good Woman, my Marueen! of the day.

Yes, I think I will still love you tomorrow, too.

Maureen Dowd: A Spiteful, Hateful, Childless Spinster who is Jealous.

Heh. Maureen Dowd tries to slash away at Sarah Palin, but comes across as she is: simply a bitterly jealous woman with nothing to show for her life but empty words that will have no meaning in 30 years.

Maureen Dowd channels Marilyn Monroe to express her own spiteful, hateful jealousies of Sarah Palin, an American Hero who has already achieved, and will likely achieve much more, than Maureen Dowd in her present incarnation can or could accomplish in her own mostly insignificant and unaccomplished lifetime.

Got family, Maureen? You've raised children? There's an accomplishment Sarah Palin has that you will never achieve. You channel Marilyn Monroe, also without children, but unlike Marilyn or Sarah you won't be remembered much past your wake.

No one cares, Maureen.

Moocher Map

Where are most of these moochers I frequently mention that the Democrats are counting on to keep them in power? From this graphic, representing the 2008 Presidential election, the margin of victory vote by county (3D), I've conveniently hi-lighted the city-counties that represent the most infested with moochers.

Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia, Memphis amongst those prominently BLUE and Moocher. Nothing we didn't know already.

How many of those overpopulated cities are economically healthy? How many are under Democrat control, and for how long?

The South: Democrats are losing it. Bill Clinton, ironically: "YOU ARE BEING PLAYED"

O! The irony, it burns brightly! In today's NYT, there's a front-page article by Jeff Zeleny, who's watching Bill Clinton's campaign movements...

Democrats’ Grip on the South Continues to Slip

JONESBORO, Ark. — The Southern white Democrat, long on the endangered list, is at risk of being pushed one step closer to extinction.

From Virginia to Florida and South Carolina to Texas, nearly two dozen Democratic seats are susceptible to a potential Republican surge in Congressional races on Election Day, leaving the party facing a situation where its only safe presence in the South is in urban and predominantly black districts.
[emboldenings mine -ed.]
That's a clear indicator that LOOTER - MOOCHER politics is alive and well. The new Social Democrat's tactic of buying votes with Other People's Money is a well-established feature of their party; it's only still working well in a culture of mostly good people, the South, in areas where there's no pride in self, in the Democrat's carefully cultivated 'Cultures of Poverty'. They now reap their grim gardens for votes.

The NYT article features photos of Bill Clinton, who, amongst other less-than-impressive credentials, made a political career of pandering to the good-ole-boy Democrats in Arkansas, carefully concealing his liberal stances. He was dispatched back to Arkansas by Obama to try to keep a district that's been Democrat for decades.

The most eye-opening WTF? O! THE IRONY! line from Bill Clinton's speaking engagement in Jonesboro, to fellow Democrats...
Former President Bill Clinton, who spent his career navigating between his party’s liberal sensibilities and the far more centrist instincts of Democrats in his home region, visited the district last week, passing through Batesville and Paragould before arriving for a rally in Jonesboro. He warned voters, “You are being played,” and urged people to cast ballots with their economic self interest in mind.
All but the most dense of Democrats can see exactly what's happening here: the consummate LOOTER playing to his MOOCHER base. "You are being played", indeed; Democrats who vote for this sort of pandering are easily plyed, susceptible to handouts and gimmee! tactics.

More Clinton...
“If it’s a referendum on Democrats against some imagined perfection, we’ll get whacked,” Mr. Clinton said in a brief interview. “If it’s a real, informed choice, we’ll do fine.”
By 'real, informed choice' he means that if Democrats can convince people to put their own self-interest ahead of interest in the Republic's survival, they will continue to win. But good people realize that we didn't get here by giving away the contents of the Treasury to the lowest level of politician who then disburses it to ply the lowest level of voter. Now, this minute, we're printing monies we don't even own, borrowing from the Chinese, Japanese and Saudis to fund impossible-to-sustain entitlements promised to Democrat voters for their continued allegiance to the National Party.

Here's a chance to ding that Social Democrat arrangement, right here during our current voting cycle culminating November 2. I've already early-voted, voting against the Democrat candidates across the slate, including TN-6, 'Al Gore's Seat', since occupied by Bart Gordon, who has wisely abdicated and will now slink off to a cushy government job (or so he thinks). I held nose tightly and voted for Bill Haslam for Governor, who is a poor choice by Republicans in this state; Haslam having crawled between the sheets with New York City Mayor Bloomberg and doing the nassty gun control maneuvers. We'll have to keep a careful eye on that RINO Bill Haslam. It's not beyond him to seek a state Income Tax; if he'll bend over for Bloomberg he'll do whatever it takes when the going gets tough, and it will when Tennessee runs out of Obama's Stimulus money next year.

Listen to this bastard, Chad Causey (D), running for Congress in Arkansas...
“I wouldn’t have voted for the cap-and-trade bill, and I couldn’t have supported the health care bill,” Mr. Causey said. “The Constitution doesn’t say anything about Democrats and Republicans. It talks about representing constituents, regardless of who’s in control in Washington, and carry their voice. That’s what I’m going to do.”
Chad Causey, like other Democrats across the nation, is running helter-skelter from the specter of National Party and Nancy Pelosi and TARP and ObamaCare, and Bill Clinton standing right there thumbs-up and grinning.

It's too late for these lying Democrats to run from their national party, from their finally unmasked identity. They must all lose, and lose big time, so's the Democrat party can reform, move away from it's far-left leanings; Democrats must stop living the Looter - Moocher Social Democrat mentality, and move back to where that once-proud party once commanded respect.

Democrats have to start punching their own hippies and neo-Marxists.

That's a long way off; but in order to keep this Republic intact, somebody's got to push back.

The South is a great place to start.

Friday Photo - She's BAAAAACK~!

All of this Deb Frisch talk reminds me of this other naasty female who was seeking entry to my underground bunker. It's getting cool enough that these little beasts will seek comfort, coziness and any shelter you can provide. This gal was under a trash can.

Black Widow Spider (Latrodectus mactans s. Deborah Frisch  )

Did she make it into my underground bunker?

Naaaaah. She suffered a crushing de'foot. Best for all concerned, really.

Previously, back in September 2006, another of my Black Widow spider photo posts, featuring a different species, the rare (for these parts) Redback Spider (Latrodectus hasselti). Looking  at this latest, there's some red on her back too, but not as much as the one from 2006. Maybe, finally, the redbacks are assimilating.

And in November 2008, a post featuring a Pie-Stealing Spider. Because of that famous, not-seen-since Black Widow dress.

She's BAAAAAACK! And maniac.

Uber-crazy Deb Frisch (PhDamned Insane) plays the Eugene, Oregon legal system like well-lubed vuvuzelas.

Jeff Goldstein is suffering another vicious attack from the failed Doctor Deb Frisch, that proven evil person who is most likely mentally insane; but since there's no help forthcoming from Eugene, Oregon authorities (hamstrung by lack of funding; it seems jail cells there are as rare as Republican voters) there's not much he, and his mother, can do but suffer. Deb Frisch has attacked Jeff's 70 year-old mother, and anyone else who's tried to help him, with the most vicious and cruel attacks imaginable...
doris the diddler

Hello?
Hello, is this Doris Goldstein?
Yes.
Do you have a grandson Satchel in Denver?
Yes. Who is this?
I’m a reporter from San Francisco doing an article on Count Cockula.
Who?
Jeffrey Todd Goldstein. Do you know him?
Yes, he’s my son.
Was he obsessed with his penis as a small child? Did you diddle him, ma’am?
Who is this?
It's very likely this wretch is bipolar.

Ms. Frisch has another parole violation hearing scheduled October 25. Ms. Frisch is not supposed to even be on the internet, given her prior convictions for harassment, but her parents, who own the Kaczynski -style cabin she's living in and from which she sends her internet bombs, also pay for her internet access, thereby aiding and abetting her vile attacks.

This is an evil attacker of good people. No matter how 'sorry' one might feel for her, that feeling is much better transferred to her victims, who are legion.

I’d guess her family has pretty much written her off as less than useless and unsalvageable, or they would’ve tried to intervene and get her some help long ago. She’s just a little rat gnawing on anything that’s in range of her sharp teeth. She has no friends, no relatives who care, and no prospects for the future.

Just think: of that poor kid jumping off the gw bridge, when it should’ve been her.

Kim Jong-il selects Kim "The Beast" Jong-un. Where's Feyd-Rautha ?

Kim "The Beast" Jong-un
If you've never read Frank Herbert's novel Dune (the world's best best-selling science fiction novel) then you've missed the reference; best you skip over this post, maybe laugh at the image. And immediately rectify that slight; here, Amazon, for $8, will help you out.

And don't think watching either of the broken screen adaptations makes up for your lack of doing the right thing.

The Baron Harkonnen, a despotic ruler of immense proportions, took over rule of the planet Dune to squeeze more taxes from it's subjects. He sent Glossu ("The Beast") Rabban to work the planet, to squeeze it, to show no mercy...
"A carnivore never stops. Show no mercy. Never stop. Mercy is a chimera. It can be defeated by the stomach rumbling it's hunger, by the throat crying it's thirst."
The Beast. A muscle-minded tank-brain, sent in to squeeze the population, and finally make way for Feyd-Rautha, the compassionate one, the 'pretty boy', as savior.

North Korea as Dune? Not likely. There are no fremen hiding in the bushes. And I doubt there's anything pretty in House Jong-il.

But as a tale of succession, this is a good one...
It is like the story of a one-time crown prince called Yangnyeong at the beginning of the Joseon Dynasty. The eldest son who was initially deemed the next in throne loses his status to his younger brother after falling out of his father’s favor for misbehavior. The defamed, womanizing son goes into exile.

Only this time, in North Korea, the brothers’ country faces an opaque future.

Because he is the eldest, Jong-nam, born in 1971, was often considered the most likely son to succeed North Korean leader Kim Jong-il. That was until 2001 when he got caught trying to enter Japan on a fake Dominican passport bearing the name Pang Xiong which means “Fat Bear” in Chinese. He told the police that he wanted to go to Tokyo Disneyland, which greatly enraged his father. After several days of detention, Jong-nam was deported to China, making Kim Jong-il cancel a scheduled trip to China out of embarrassment to both countries.

Prior to the globally publicized 2001 incident, Jong-nam had reportedly made several secret visits to Japan, starting as early as 1995.

Several years after the eldest son’s fallout, speculation rose over whether the throne would go to second son Jong-chol, as it usually did during the Joseon Dynasty.

Unlike his elder brother who was tutored and educated in North Korea’s elite school, Jong-chol, born in 1981 to a different mother, was educated in Switzerland for five years until 1998.

It was only early last year that the outside world learned that the “Dear Leader” finally decided to pass on his legacy to the third and youngest son Jong-un, born in 1984.
If any parallels exist between Dune and North Korea, best would be the eventual defeat of House Jong-il. Because Kim Jong-il has squeezed North Korea for decades, has oppressed the population to the point of starvation. A better successor might have been Jong-nam, who escaped to Japan and knew that bright lights at night were attractive. This young son, Jong-un, seems much like his father.

But unlike his hungry father, Jong-nam looks much like he might need suspensors to carry his future bulk.

Kim "The Beast" Jong-un. Now there's a reference you can relate to.

Helen Thomas: "Baloney. I've never been Anti-Semetic. I'm a Semite." What, pray tell, is a semite ?

Anti-Sementic, for sure.

Newsbusters has posted the first Helen Thomas interview since her departure. And it's a doozy, just what you'd expect from such a person.

I've seen whores. Ann Gust Brown's seen whores too (or so she says). I hope Ann Gust Brown doesn't call you a whore, as she did Meg Whitman, your dead cheetah knock-em-out accouterments notwithstanding. There's something missing in your makeup, I can't put my finger on it right away, but...

I doubt, Helen, that you've ever spurred a sexual reaction from anyone, male or female, at any time. Not even continuously desperate lefty men could be that far-gone desperate.

Wait...

Well, there once was this guy named Ted Kennedy... )

My first choice for 2012 Republican presidential candidate.

Condi once argued with Chuck Norris. Chuck promptly shat his pants and quickly moved to Texas.

~*~

Oh, my. Jake Tapper acts like a real journalist, with a line of questions that allows David Axelrod to paint himself in a corner.

This might be unprecedented, seeing a White House journalist actually asking probing questions of an Obama functionary; so probing that David Axelrod squirms like BHO caught with a smoke in the Lincoln Bedroom...
TAPPER: So the chamber says no foreign money is paying for any of their political activities.

AXELROD: And I guess my answer to the Chamber is just disclose where your money is coming from and that will end all the questions. The fact is they are spending $75 million in this campaign and they will not disclose where one dime is coming from. And that's the problem with all of these organizations. We have tens of millions of special interest money coming into these campaigns and no record of where its coming from and that should be a concern to every voter in this country.

TAPPER: Their answer would be why should they disclose. No one's disclosing.

AXELROD: Right and they have a point there. We tried to pass a law in the Congress -- every Democrat in the Senate voted for it, every Republican in the Senate voted against it -- that said everyone has to disclose. That all these organizations would have to disclose where their money is coming from whether they are supporting Democratic candidates or Republican candidates. The Republicans blocked that bill and the question to them and their allies is: what are they hiding that they don’t want the American people to see?

TAPPER: But you're asking the Chamber to prove a negative. “Prove that you’re not doing such and such accusation.”

AXELROD: It’s not proving a negative, Jake, because all you have to do to clear up the questions is reveal who your donors are from. The question back to them is why don’t they want to reveal where their money is coming from? I think the answer is, I think if the American people knew where their money was coming from they’d be a lot less apt to listen to the advertising, to read the mail, to respond to the kind of negative campaigns that the Chamber and some of these other organizations are underwriting.

...

TAPPER: But what do you say to people who argue you are demonizing an organization for a charge that nobody knows if it's true or not?

AXELROD: Well I’m not demonizing the Chamber of Commerce. I’m simply suggesting to them that they disclose the source of the $75 million that they are spending in campaigns and put to rest, put to rest the questions that have been, that have been raised.

TAPPER: Isn't that like the whackjobs that tell the president he needs to show them his full long-form birth certificate so he can put to rest the questions that have been raised?AXELROD: The president’s birth certificate has been available to people.TAPPER: The long form?

AXELROD: Someone once in the course of this debate about whether we should have a law to force these organizations to disclose where they’re money is coming from in the campaigns, someone said, and I think they’re right – “the only people who want to keep things secret are folks who have something to hide.” If the Chamber doesn’t have anything to hide about these contributions, and I take them at their word that they don’t, then why not disclose? Why not let people see where their money is coming from?
If Jake keeps this up, he'll not be invited to another White House Press Appreciation Party.

Columbus Day - Simpsons Sweatshop - Unicorns are ALIVE! post.

well, alive, but only momentarily.

h/t @exoskeletonfire

Michelle Obama hula hoops the Great Depression...err, Repression ...err, Recession.

Over at the Hillbuzz, I noticed an interesting pshop, featuring M'chelle doing her hula hooping whilst poor people were suffering. The pshop was based on a photo taken during the Great Depression. Michelle has had much fun during this Great Recession, hula hooping and vacationing and just making a splendid time of it for herself; this sort of exercise is a good way to point out her ample...deficiencies. Let 'em not eat cupcakes.

So, here's my offering, based on the cover photograph of the 1972 book "Portrait of a Decade: Roy Stryker and the Development of Documentary Photography in the Thirties" by F. Jack Hurley.

I'm not sure who took this photo. Roy Stryker wasn't much of a photographer; he did run the FSA and managed a stable of photographers (including Dorothea Lange), collected and disseminated their works to various news outlets during his tenure in the '30's to 1943. That collection is now a valuable asset held in the Library of Congress.

Anyone knows who shot this pic, leave a comment.

McGavock High School: A Zoo. Thanks, Nashville Board of Education, for everything you do.

The offending organizations:

Tennessee Department of Education
Metro Nashville Public Schools

It's much like trying to teach a zoo full of shit-flinging monkeys, as this teacher has discovered.

A shame there's no corporal punishment allowed anymore; some of those future dirty socialist Democrats could've used a pattern of behavior modification, starting from grade 1; a nice wooden paddle, covered with duct tape, drilled with a pattern of holes on the business end, with the words THINK THINK THINK emblazoned along it's length. One whack for every THINK. To encourage thinking and co-operation; use as needed.

A school-full of freakin' animals.

Thanks and h/t to American Power for his post. I don't even read the local rag newspaper anymore, so I had to find out about this from a California blogger. More at the link.

Pamela Geller, on the Cover of the New York Times! Eat your heart out, Charles Johnson.

A three-page article, written to support the Park51 "Ground Zero Mosque" by attacking Ms. Geller. Oh, and to draw out the New York Times' audience of lefty commentators and allow them to revile Pamela Geller in the comments. Of course they rise to the occasion.

Response from Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs. You go, girl.

I left a comment at NYT. Only a few of my comments get published, we'll see...
Typical hatred-filled responses from New Yorkers I see. Your city was attacked by whom again? Can you even remember? Do you care?

Let's have a compromise. You 'haters' try to persuade the world's Muslims to allow a Cathedral and a Synagogue to be built in Mecca and Medina. After that conversation, if you dare to have it, I'll gladly turn a jaundiced eye toward Robert Spencer and Ms. Geller. Until then, you've no right to throw slurs and verbally stone a woman for taking a strong position in what she truly believes.
If that comment is published, it'll be the only one supportive of Pamela Geller on the page.

Hold the presses...I just found another major lefty newspaper attacking Pamela Geller, London's Guardian...
An Observer investigation has established that the EDL has made contact with anti-jihad groups within the Tea Party organisation and has invited a senior US rabbi and Tea Party activist to London this month. Rabbi Nachum Shifren, a regular speaker at Tea Party conventions, will speak about Sharia law and also discuss funding issues.

The league has also developed links with Pamela Geller, who was influential in the protests against plans to build an Islamic cultural centre near Ground Zero. Geller, darling of the Tea Party's growing anti-Islamic wing, is advocating an alliance with the EDL. The executive director of the Stop Islamisation of America organisation, she recently met EDL leaders in New York and has defended the group's actions, despite a recent violent march in Bradford.

Geller, who denies being anti-Muslim, said in one of her blogs: "I share the EDL's goals… We need to encourage rational, reasonable groups that oppose the Islamisation of the west."

Devin Burghart, vice-president of the Kansas-based Institute for Research & Education on Human Rights, said: "Geller is acting as the bridge between the EDL and the Tea Party. She plays an important role in bringing Islamophobia into the Tea Party. Her stature has increased substantially inside the Tea Party ranks after the Ground Zero mosque controversy. She has gained a lot of credibility with that stuff."
Seems there are lines being drawn; two 'major' news organizations on two continents working together, attacking a common 'enemy' on the same day.

I'm not in Pamela Geller's camp by choice. You won't find a link in my sidebar to Atlas Shrugs, or many posts written referencing her posted here. But I've always admired Robert Spencer, linked him several times.

But I share her revulsion for the Left, and decry their attacks on her for purely partisan reasons.

And I've said countless times that Islam the religion is overdue for a remake and an update to 21st century thinking. Christianity was reformed centuries ago. Force Islam to reform, so's it's not so susceptible to being used by extremist Imams and Ayatollahs and people like Bin Laden. Once that's done, they'll be no need for the Pamela Gellers and Robert Spencers of the world.

I think we'll need 'em for centuries more, if rags like the NYT and the Guardian slither to side with the forces of jihad and encroaching Shariah Law.

What we're drinking...

...sure ain't your run-of-the-mill Valu-Rite Vodka. Smooth and fluid, and amazingly enough! Grey Goose stays down the hatch.

This poured for Cowboy Blob's Weekly Photoshop - Caption Contest.

Cheers~!

John Lennon's Birthday

Meh. What a tool he was. I remain unimpressed with his life's direction after hooking up with that...gal. Onoes!

Enjoy, instead, this. Allison Kraus and Union Station, "Choctaw Hayride".

Impressive work. FuckabunchaLennon.

Oh, if you must read written Love for Lennon, read Sharon Cobb's emotional outburst here. Carry hankies. Or a sock if you're really bad off.

Why reach across the aisle?

Republicans who 'reach across' the political aisle are usually those who aren't staunchly conservative ideologically, the RINOS; John McCain and others you know by name. I blame them for allowing this steady drift to the Left by giving up too-easy compromises that at best incrementally push all of us in the wrong direction.

There's good reason to NOT cooperate with these Democrats: this current version of the Democrat Party is the farthest-Left that's ever emerged in the history of this Republic. You saw it last weekend: the mix of Communists, dirty Socialists and Union thugs at the One Nation rally on the mall was an overt display of just how far Left these modern Democrats have shifted. We cannot afford to allow these sorts to gain even another inch of ideological ground; they've all but broken this nation with their social demands on our treasury, pandering to the weak of mind and those lacking education and strong core values.

We have this new cabal of Democrat leaders, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, the Looters, desirous of taxing and taking other peoples' monies to which they are not entitled, to give to people, the moochers, who haven't earned it yet still they expect to get it nontheless. These Professional politicians, Left-Looters, take from the producers and give to the moochers in order to secure the moocher vote. With these votes they stay in political power, their ultimate goal in life.

BHO is exemplar of  Ultimate Moocher: promising free and easy goods (health care and other unearned social entitlements), and with his dramatic speechifying that says nothing but promises vacuous and amorphous HOPE and CHANGEs, he gathered the necessary swooning crowds of moochers who voted into power this colossal MISTAKE that has the USA poised on the knife-edge of bankruptcy.

We must pull away from Democrat ideology and restore fiscal sanity. We can't do that by caving in to more and more Democrat moocher-looter socialist-lite political claptrap. Enough, I say!

And plenty of good Americans agree with me. November 2, it begins, the CHANGE.

Democrat losses of 'epic proportions' brewing in the old Tea Pot ?

Douglas Schoen, Democrat pollster, fondles the tea leaves and sees pain in the President's near-future...

Republicans are on the brink of pulling off a landslide "of potentially epic proportions" that would bring them control of both Houses of Congress and a majority of governorships, Democratic pollster and Fox News commentator Douglas Schoen says.

In an exclusive Newsmax interview, Schoen says he now sees several indications that matters are going from bad to worse for Democrats in this election cycle.

He points to a RealClearPolitics.com analysis that now shows Republicans picking up a net gain of nine seats in the Senate, which would deadlock the upper chamber 50 to 50. And polls show several other GOP candidates, including Carly Fiorina in California and Dino Rossi in Washington state, remain within striking distance, he says.

Schoen, a pollster for former President Bill Clinton, is co-author of the new book "Mad as Hell: How the Tea Party Movement is Fundamentally Remaking Our Two-Party System."

"We're moving in the direction of the Republicans potentially picking up 10 or 11 seats," Schoen says. "More likely it will be nine to 10, which is enough to either deadlock the Senate or give them control.

"You tie that in with a House that most people, myself included, concede is going to be 45 to 50 seats at the very least, if not more, and a generic vote that is now plus 7 or 8 percent for Republicans, combined with the Gallup turnout model predicting anywhere from 13 to 18 percent for the Republicans, you're looking at the potential for the Republicans to win both houses of Congress and holding 30 or more governors' seats. We're looking at a landslide of potentially epic proportions," Schoen says.
Never before has a party so deserved to get stomped at the polls as this current far-left bunch of sorry Democrats.

Let's hope for the best. Keep on calling, knocking on doors and telling people what has to happen to save the Republic. There are good people in this nation; we're not only a land of looters and moochers, but of citizens who remember our history and want to stop the bad CHANGE before it's too late. Good people, gather and let's send a clear message on November 2, that we have to stop this terrible slide to socialism.

Stop the CHANGE.

Friday Video: Burning down the old abortion clinic ?

Dan Collins posts on Dr. George Tiller's abortion clinic what's for up sale, and the disposition thereof. I left this as a comment...

No, I'm not advocating burning down working and producing abortion clinics. We should buy this old one, however, and do something with it; if it involves a flare gun I'm sure that's unnecessary and a waste of monies. Dan's idea, turning it into an American Abortion Holocaust Museum, is a thought.

Is the thing even on a lake or a river ?

Liu Xiaobo wins the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize, an award with much diminished worth.

Liu Xiaobo should've won this Nobel Peace Prize last year. Instead, in 2009, the Nobel committee beclowned itself, and with it's poor choice awarded the Nobel Peace Prize the status of a Crackerjack box booby prize.

Finally, they do get one right, but the award's worth is now forever questionable.

Liu Xiaobo...the poor guy's stuck in prison in China, serving 11 years, for a lifetime of dissent against the Communists, and likely will never know he's won this award. I'll be his life expectancy is much shortened. The Chinese can't afford to ever let him out, because with this sort of acclaim, he's a much bigger enemy than he ever was...
Blacklisted from academia and barred from publishing in China, Mr. Liu has been harassed and detained repeatedly since 1989, when he stepped into the drama playing out on Tiananmen Square by staging a hunger strike and then negotiating the peaceful retreat of student demonstrators as thousands of soldiers stood by with rifles at the ready.

“If not for the work of Liu and the others to broker a peaceful withdrawal from the square, Tiananmen Square would have been a field of blood on June 4,” said Gao Yu, a veteran journalist who was arrested in the hours before the tanks began moving through the city.

His most recent arrest in December of 2008 came a day before a reformist manifesto he helped craft began circulating on the Internet. The petition, entitled Charter ‘08, demanded that China’s rulers embrace human rights, judicial independence and the kind of political reform that would ultimately end the Communist Party’s monopoly on power.

“For all these years, Liu Xiaobo has persevered in telling the truth about China and because of this, for the fourth time, he has lost his personal freedom,” his wife, Liu Xia, said earlier this week.

Given his detention, it is unclear how Mr. Liu would take possession of the prize, which includes a gold medal, a diploma and the equivalent of $1.46 million.
He was in prison last year, when you gave this prize to Obama, you Nobel Nincompoops.

Maybe that should be a prerequisite for giving a Nobel Peace Prize, that the recipient be in jail, or served time in jail. They would've had to wait a while to give it to BHO.

China, the brutal regime who makes the USA 'solvent', is not amused. The Chinese power cabal is 'furious'...
"Liu Xiaobo is a criminal who has been sentenced by Chinese judicial departments for violating Chinese law," the foreign ministry said in a statement.

Awarding the peace prize to Liu "runs completely counter to the principle of the prize and is also a blasphemy to the peace prize", the statement said.
"...blasphemy to the peace prize" ? Where were you last year?

Screw the Chinese. They've become an economic and world superpower by manufacturing with ultra-cheap labor and selling the USA their morally ugly goods.

China's one-child policy gives them ample cash supplies, that they then use to buy our worthless paper debt-bonds to keep our own dirty socialists happy and in power. The Chinese money they use to finance our debt is the direct result of China's policy of mass eugenics. China has a one-child-per-family mandate, selective childbirth, one-child only, with forced abortions, to the tune of 11,000,000 abortions per year. That's a lot of blood running to keep the USA cheaply clothed and trinketed.

Loves us some Chinese, we Americans; instead of being the self-sufficient superpower we once were, we are beholden to a bloody regime of Communists, a superpower because we made them one, a superpower that force-kills their own children, a superpower that just so happens to holds this dissident Liu Xiaobo in jail. For that they get the spotlight of the once-bright Nobel Peace Prize, that's now operating at quarter-wattage at best.

Yes, this Nobel Peace Prize award is 365 days late, and a few trillion dollars and 11 million lives short. Thanks, Nobel Committee, you evil-clown fucks.

Pakistani Taliban burn NATO's supply lines. Oh, and the Pakistan Government helps 'em.

The Pakistan government in Islamabad shuts down NATO's supply convoys to their forces in Afghanistan. Then, the Paki Taliban sets about burning fuel trucks. All of this because our drones killed three Paki soldiers in a mistaken attack.

Tell me, why didn't someone anticipate this sort of retaliatory attack?

Who's running this flea circus anyways ?

Preview: "The Socialist", the "movie".

Synopsis: Every age seeks visionaries to leave, in the wake of their genius, a changed world - but rarely are they found without a few strikeout also-rans getting a crack first. In 2008, millions of Americans thought they had found the real thing.

Over the subsequent two years the nation moved inexorably - though rarely without battle - toward European-style socialism. Through the warring perspectives of a few powerful, deluded men and women who claim to know what's best for you resulted a national drama rife with both bureaucracy creation and wealth destruction.

The Socialist moved from the halls of academia to the offices of ACORN to a pew in Chicago, and eventually all the way to the oval office, all the while spurred on by the heady early days of a culture-changing phenomenon in the making. In the midst of the chaos and mounting disasters, average American citizens began to object, eventually adding up to more than the sum of their parts in what has become a multifront, 21st century clash of worldviews.

This film has not yet been rated, but the story received a solid B+ from the White House. Catch the beginning of the end in theaters November 2010, with the ultimate conclusion to be seen worldwide in November of 2012.

Heh. Good imagery. Hopefully this path, narrow and winding that it is, missed by the masses of self-concerned and decadent moochers who only think of the pebble in their own shoe, isn't one that's too late to take.

Rush Limbaugh calls President Obama a "jackass".

There's likely an apoplexy in the works. From Steve Portney, via Jake Tapper at ABC...
The nation’s preeminent conservative talk radio host referred to Mr. Obama as a “jackass,” an “economic illiterate” and an “idiot, where capitalism is concerned.”

No word on whether he's picked up on my favorite moniker, "Dirty Socialist".

In other news, the Presidential Seal fell off of Obama's podium yesterday, in the midst of one of his oratorical profundities.

Don't mind if I do.

Moochers come in every flavor...

Darleen Click put this visual together from one of my protein wisdom comments, with a link to moocher-nation "One Nation Working Together/ Partners" dot com.

Heh. Thanks, Darleen.

More hippy-punching posts at protein wisdom re: ONE NATION, the newest lefty gift that just keeps on giving; a massive turd in a Democrat koolaid-punchbowl.

One Nation Covet and Hate Rally [Darleen Click] 10/4/2010

Byron York attended the “One Nation” rally 10/3/2010

As an addendum to Darleen’s earlier coverage of the “marching” dullards that kind of staggered through DC today. 10/3/2010

For your consideration … [Darleen Click] UPDATED
10/3/2010

This ONE NATION event, staged, astroturfed, anemic, will be a source of hilarity for days to come. Sad thing is, the Left can't or won't realize the their idea of 'grass-roots support' comes funded from the pocketses of far-left entities that have nothing to do with job creation. When, exactly, have Unions helped corporations become healthy enough to hire workers? Why do these leftists look at corporations and 'the rich' as evil, when if not for their providing jobs and goods and services, all of these dirty socialist sorts would be scritching their bedbugs in shelters and caves and shitting in the woods?
