Jake Locker: Tennessee Titans's surprising first-round pick. I hope he's not a dumbass.

“I’ll always take the smart guy. The dumb guy will get you beat every time.” -- Buddy Ryan
I'm concerned with the (surprising) pick of Jake Locker at #8 in the First Round of the 2011 draft. Again, the Titans picked a QB with the lowest Wonderlic score of any of the available prospects (20 out of 50); this is troubling to me. Still, Locker's score is three times that of Vince Young's initial bombshell score (a 6, later 'revised' to a still-paltry 15).

If you go by my rule of thumb (that a QB's Wonderlic is a rough indication of how many games he's capable of playing before a mental breakdown) at least Locker will make it through a season; VY's score of 6 is about right for the number of games he could safely play before losing it.

Of all the QB's in this year's draft, Locker's Wonderlic was the lowest: Greg McElroy (43, still on the board); Blaine Gabbert (42, 10th pick 1st round Jacksonville); Christian Ponder (35, 12th pick 1st round Vikings); Ricky Stanzi (30, still on the board), Andy Dalton (29, 35th pick, 2nd Round, Bengals); Ryan Mallett (26, 74th pick, 3rd Round, Patriots); Cam Newton (21,1st pick, 1st round, Panthers), and Jake Locker (20, 8th pick, 1st round, Titans).

Comparative Wonderlic scores for starting QB's around the NFL: Tim Tebow (22), Jay Cutler, Kyle Orton (26), Ben Roethliesberger (25), Tom Brady (33), Eli Manning (39), Drew Breese (28), Kerry Collins (30), John Elway (29), Peyton Manning (28).

As a comparison, non-football occupations and typical Wonderlic scores...

Pharmacist – 31
Salesperson – 24
Secretary – 22
Security Guard – 17
(Democratic) Congressman Heath Schuler – 16
Metro Water Department Sewer-Gauge Flow-Control Monitor person (and Vince Young) - 6

So there you go.

(Yeah, I made that last one up, just to see if your were paying attention. )

So far, we picked Akeem Ayers (LB, UCLA) 2nd Round (39th pick) and Jurrell Casey (DT, USC) 3rd Round (77th pick). That'll fill holes in the defense.

In the next rounds, we desperately need OL help.

More on Jake Locker...
The young quarterback is a tremendous athlete with good size at 6’3″ and 235 pounds. He’s built like a rock and he can run. Locker ran a 4.59 in the forty-yard dash at the NFL Combine and was still somewhat disappointed. He jumped 35 inches in the vertical jump broad jumped 9’7″.

If you check out some of his video highlights you will see him leave the pocket and make plays. When he stays in the pocket, he doesn’t look like an NFL quarterback. He looks uncomfortable, erratic and stressed. In his college highlights, once he gets outside of the pocket, he seemed to see the field better and do a much better job of making decisions.

This is troubling and the reason that he’s somewhat of a project. He may be fast for a quarterback, but he will get run down by NFL linebackers and defensive backs once he leaves the pocket in the Pros. Locker won’t be able to break contain and make guys miss in the NFL like he did in the college. He’ll be forced to stay in the pocket and make plays from there. ...

Former NFL Player Personnel Director Mike Lombardi, who is a analyst for the NFL Network, didnt’ give a glowing report of Locker.

“At the end of the day for me, I think when you watch Jake Locker, he’s a potential starter in the NFL,” Lombardi said. “That’s the most you can say at this point in his career. He’s a potential starter.”

Lombardi said that Locker is a third or fourth round type of prospect.
Here we go.

Charts: Misery Index; Barack Obama's Economic Approval Index. Oh, and a pretty gal.

The two charts from James Pethokoukis' blog. Adapted as I saw fit.

The pretty gal? Who knows? Found whilst searching for Bill Clinton and Monica. You tell me.

Obama uses the BAN STICK on a reporter; for not comporting to HIS LINE !

The creation and dissemination of this video has earned a San Francisco reporter a virtual silencing.

His 'official' line to reporters is, there is no dissent tolerated, and no deviation from your given talking points

And complaining about it? Just wait and see! You WILL do as you are told, or you WILL FACE CONSEQUENCES!

I'll give kudos where it's due, and this newspaper and reporter deserve credit for standing up to Barack Hussein Obama, the "I WON".

Obama Administration punishes reporter for using multimedia

White House officials have banished one of the best political reporters in the country from the approved pool of journalists covering presidential visits to the Bay Area for using now-standard multimedia tools to gather the news.

The Chronicle's Carla Marinucci - who, like many contemporary reporters, has a phone with video capabilities on her at all times - pulled out a small video camera last week and shot some protesters interrupting an Obama fundraiser at the St. Regis Hotel.

How are we supposed to know what BHO is up to? Reporters have always given The WON! a free pass; there's very few tough questions allowed. Any heckling or, in this case a very mild reproach by fellow travelers, is not allowed, under pain of filter.

What's worse: more than a few journalists familiar with this story are aware of some implied threats from the White House of additional and wider punishment if Carla's spanking became public. Really? That's a heavy hand usually reserved for places other than the land of the free.

But bravery is a challenge, in particular for White House correspondents, most of whom are seasoned and capable journalists. They live a little bit in a gilded cage where they have access to the most powerful man in the world but must obey the rules whether they make sense or not.

CBS News reporter, Mark Knoller, has publicly protested the limited press access to Obama fundraisers, calling the policy "inconsistent." "It's no way to do business," wrote Politico's Julie Mason, "especially [for] a candidate who prides himself on transparency."

A 2009 blog by the White House Director of New Media states that "President Obama is committed to making his administration the most open and transparent in history."

Not last week.

You WILL LEARN what you can say, and when you can say it, or you WILL NOT be allowed to access our IMPERIAL PRESIDNET. Your talking points are sent out every morning; there will be no deviation from the narrow lines we wish to convey.

OR ELSE.

That will be all. Return to your cubicles.

Good DAY!

Royal Wedding a Do-Over?

This, from yesterday's Boston Globe (h/t BN)

The Boston Globe nailed it… it’s a do-over.
Poor Kate, though. What a set-up floating Diana over her head.
It’s like telling Michelle Obama on inauguration day America is expecting the next Jackie Kennedy.

Overshadowed, much?

You can't escape the hype of this thing. Every woman in America (with the possible exception of cross-dressing long-c*ck feminists like Amanda Marcotte) was up early this morning to view this overblown spectacle, my wife included. Meh.

BHO and M'Chelle were snubbed, even after M'Chelle dropped hints that she would attend 'if invited'. That's the best part of it all.

Give the Queen a cheap MP-3 player filled with your 'greatest speeches', BHO. Send back the gift of the bust of Winston Churchill. Snub our best and most loyal ally, and see where it gets you.

Wanna bet M'Chelle slept through this one? Dreaming some tremulous dreams, I'll warrant.

Lost and Failed Tennessee Democrats gather for breakfast; Al Gore 'presiding'.

LOSING TENNESSEE DEMOCRATS TO HOLD UNITY EVENT
LED BY AL GORE
NEW RADIO AD POINTS OUT THAT FAILED POLICIES OF BARACK OBAMA HAVE TENNESSEE DEMOCRATS UNIFIED

NASHVILLE, TN – On Friday, Tennessee Democrats, led by former Vice President and failed presidential candidate Al Gore, will hold a “Unity Breakfast” in Nashville. Headlining the event are former Congressman Bart Gordon, former Congressman Lincoln Davis, former Congressman John Tanner, former gubernatorial candidate Mike McWherter and former U.S. Senate candidate Bob Tuke.

Due to the failed policies of Democrats and Barack Obama, Gordon and Tanner chose not to run for re-election last year after it became obvious that they would be rejected by voters in their districts. Davis was overwhelmingly defeated in the 4th Congressional district by Dr. Scott DesJarlais. McWherter lost his bid for Governor against Bill Haslam and Tuke was only able to win one county in his bid for U.S. Senate against Senator Lamar Alexander.

“This so-called Unity Breakfast might be the largest gathering of failed Democrat politicians in one place ever in Tennessee. Besides their losing campaigns, the one thing they can unify around is the disastrous policies of Democrats and President Obama,” said Chris Devaney, Chairman of the Tennessee Republican Party.

Last year, Democrats lost elections across Tennessee, resulting in Republicans gaining a 7-2 majority in Tennessee’s Congressional delegation, plus large majorities in the Tennessee General Assembly and a landslide victory for Governor Bill Haslam.

“Democrats should abandon Barack Obama and his liberal progressive policies that are wrecking our country, or face even worse defeats than they had this past election in Tennessee. The problem is their party is out of fresh ideas and it seems the only fresh thing this breakfast meeting will offer is the orange juice,” said Devaney.

Eat the rich, bitches.

Titans select QB Jake Locker (Wonderlic 20) with the 8th pick in the NFL draft.

What's up with the Titans and low-Wonderlic-scoring quarterbacks? Vince Young had a 6, and we see what came of that: failure to perform at the high level required to be an NFL starting quarterback. Granted, Jake Locker has a 20, but his was the lowest Wonderlic score amongst the Titan's possible QB selections...
Brock Huard offered his reaction in Thursday's Blue 42:
"I think what's most important here - and unfortunate for Jake - is that he's last amongst his peers. This is all a competition. This is all a grading. This isn't the end-all, be-all. It's still 80 percent about his play on the field and his accuracy.

"But unfortunately for him, what you do through this process is you look at these guys, you look at the five, six, seven prospects - Ponder, Dalton, Mallett, Newton, Gabbert - OK, how do you all stack up against each other? What's your height? What's your weight? What's your 40? How far can you throw it? What's your film look like? And unfortunately for Jake, you just don't ever want to be last in that race. You don't want to be behind Mallett and Newton and Dalton, which he is.

"He's a 20. Is that awful? No. Have there been Pro Bowl quarterbacks, one in particular, that got a nine on that score? Yes there was. I played against him when I was in Indianapolis. That is concerning. I remember (other guys had scores of) nine, 10, 11. Those are concerning numbers. (But) 20 is definitely not ideal."

He's got a cannon for an arm (as we've seen from Kerry Collins); he's a bit quirky and not very consistent (a factoid that would've cost him if the Titans had read the NFL's commentary), and is prone to injury (because he's so athletic, and runs hard...much like we're used to seeing from McNair and Young).

This is a big "WOW!" pick. A big chance you've taken, GM Reinhardt.

But he's not had any thuggery or legal run-ins on his record...right! Right?

Tuscaloosa twister spawns rare 'sideways' vortices

Credit: Dusty Compton/Tuscaloosa News, via Associated Press
What a freakin' monster.

A rare sideways tornado was captured on video as it spun off of a massive twister that roared through downtown Tuscaloosa, Ala., yesterday (April 27).

Just how rare are these sideways spinners?

"There's not even a settled-upon name for those," said Bob Henson, a meteorologist with the National Corporation for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo.

In the video, horizontal, rope-like funnel clouds periodically twist off of the main funnel cloud. At 1:20 in the video, a large sideways funnel cloud forms in front of the twister.

Sideways funnel clouds are usually seen only with the biggest and baddest of tornadoes, and yesterday was no exception, Henson told OurAmazingPlanet. The huge tornado may have carved a path from downtown Tuscaloosa to downtown Birmingham, about 60 miles (97 kilometers) apart. The tornado appears to be a mile wide and seemed to be on the ground for more than two hours.

The exact death toll from this monster is unknown, but statewide, tornadoes killed an estimated 162 people, CNN reported.

Prayers for the victims. Send cash if you have it.

"Father" Michael Pfleger, Obama's Favorite Leftist 'Priest', suspended (FINALLY!)

Remember Father Michael Pfleger, that idiotic Catholic Priest who also preached at Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) just before BHO threw it under the bus? Well, his fake-religious-ass has been tossed to the curb by his Cardinal, in as harsh a way as possible...

Cardinal suspends Pfleger: 'You are not able to pastor a Catholic parish'

Citing what he called threats from the Rev. Michael Pfleger to leave the church, Cardinal Francis George has removed the outspoken priest from St. Sabina parish and has suspended his "sacramental faculties as a priest." ...

"With this letter, your ministry as pastor of Saint Sabina Parish and your sacramental faculties as a priest of the Archdiocese are suspended."

The cardinal ended the letter by saying, "This conflict is not between you and me; it's between you and the Church that ordained you a priest, between you and the faith that introduced you to Christ and gives you the right to preach and pastor in his name. If you now formally leave the Catholic Church and her priesthood, it's your choice and no one else's. You are not a victim of anyone or anything other than your own statements."
Loud-mouthed little turd should've been tossed long ago. His 'social justice' (read: LeftLibProgg) attitudes fit well with the Chicago and the Obama Machines; often he would stand up and decry conservatives and even ran afoul of the NRA...
For a couple of years, he said he has been the target of petitions and letter-writing campaigns by the NRA. Letters are often copied to the cardinal, Pfleger said.

"The NRA ... says I've been much too vocal about assault weapons and much too vocal about guns being registered and being accountable to gun owners," Pfleger said on the radio. "So all that combined and I guess the cardinal didn't have anything to do one morning and decided he wanted to get rid of me again."
What a churlish punk. Comes from hanging too long with 'Reverend' Wright and Louis Farrakahn.

Your job, "Father", is to save souls; not to preach political garbage for 'social justice' and 'reparations' as defined by Black Liberation Theology and the far-Left in this nation.

A long time coming. This idiot should've been tossed years ago.

George Bush rides 100K with Wounded Warriors

A three-day, 100K mountain bike ride in back country Texas to help raise awareness for Wounded Warriors, an organization dedicated to supporting war-wounded veterans. From Air Force Times...
TERLINGUA, Texas — Kenneth Butler touched the metal end of his prosthetic arm instinctively as he recalled the horrors he witnessed in Iraq.

Four years after losing his limb when his vehicle was hit by a bomb in Baghdad, the retired Army staff sergeant got his first chance this week to meet former President George W. Bush during a three-day bike ride in West Texas attended by more than a dozen other wounded veterans and cycling legend Lance Armstrong.

Bush rode in the event for a chance to meet with veterans and thank them for their sacrifice. But for Butler, he holds no ill-will toward the man who sent thousands of Americans to war in 2003.

“I feel his compassion,” the retired parachute infantry squad leader said Wednesday, with a note of melancholy. “It feels like he really cares about us.”

Bush and 15 wounded veterans were joined Wednesday in the last leg of a 62.5-mile ride through the rugged desert trails of Big Bend National Park by Armstrong, the seven-time Tour de France champion.

Although Bush acknowledges struggling to keep up during the trek, he said he relished the opportunity.

“As a commander in chief, it was my decision to put them in harm’s way in the first place,” he said. “I feel a special bond toward them and I want them to know I’ll never forget them.”
Good to see the 64-year old Bush is still active, and still has much class and dignity. Video here; h/t Theo Spark.

(Oh, that other guy who plays at 'president' (for now), not to be overshadowed, is practicing for his post-presidency mountain bike big adventure...) :D

Wrong Hospital Name On
Obama's New Birth Certificate

Exclusive to Rense.com
By Devvy

Well, the fine print could come back to bite you. The email below popped into my email box. I went and did a scroogle search and Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital does not come up as a facility.  Just Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children as search engines do by word association. I went over to the hospital's official web site (last link at bottom) and they don't call themselves a Gynecological Hopsital.

I would be interested to see incorporation papers for a Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in Hawaii. Bet one doesn't exist.

This is no small thing. Also, this "new" Birth Certificate does not have the name or signature of a doctor, just an attendant.

Email I received:
OK, I`m going to question the legitimacy of this on a technicality - that being `the actual NAME of the hospital in 1961
In 1961 - and according to the said Birth Certificate the hospital where BO was (allegedly)!! born was named :- KAPIOLANI MATERNITY & GYNECOLOGICAL HOSPITAL.
Go read the rest, if you must. But I'm calling "Idiot".

UPDATE

You've GOT to be kidding me. Right?

This must be a bad dream. Our President can't be lying about this. No freakin' way.

MikeB302000 caught 'spoofing' comments

More on anti-gun United Nations blogger Mikeb302000. Seem I've found evidence that he is 'spoofing' comments at his site. Not only did he not publish (2) comments I left there yesterday (and (1) this morning), he 'spoofed' a comment, supposed authored by 'me', and published it instead of the first one I tried to leave. The evidence for such spoofing I presented in a personal email to 'dog gone', a third blog-author whom I didn't know existed, who claims to have published comments from 'me' in the past. How did that happen, when I've never left a comment on a post she authored? Hell, I didn't even know she existed until today!

This just proves that Mikeb302000 is a disingenuous twatwaffle.

I tried to leave a 4th comment, containing the email I sent to 'dog gone'; we'll see if it gets posted. Even if it doesn't, I have this screen shot of the comment preview...

top-half screenshot (click to enhance)

bottom-half screenshot

That's the problem with blogger's wide-open commenting system. And why mine insists on using OpenID, and disallows anonymous comments.

Oh, let's carry this a bit further: why do you suppose a blog-post-author would both delete my comments AND spoof me? Mikeb302000 is the only one there who could've done both, BTW. Why, Mikeb302000, I have your number, you United Nations AGENT PROVOCATEUR!

UPDATE
'dog gone' published that comment, and deleted the spoofed comment. I left another comment, AWA publication: (below the fold)

HERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE! (You can drop out now, Donald Trump, you idiot.)

I told all these idiot birthers all along that this was a blind alley; a wild goose chase. BHO held out just as long as he could, to snare as many idiots as possible, before releasing this COLB. Why not? He's snagged a huge prize: The Donald, who can now get his ass back to firing people on national TV.

Trump has no chance of getting nominated now. Thanks for that, BHO!

Actually, if you think about it, BHO should've waited just a bit longer; to try to trap some more foul fowl. But here it is.

One problem I can see: this COLB doesn't detail that BHO Sr. was a dirty socialist communist agitator, or that his young bride was a moon-eyed train wreck who just wanted to shame her hated father.

Mikeb302000, United Nations AGENT PROVOCATEUR, plays with Venn Diagrams.

I first encountered this rabid anti-gun loon Mikeb302000 back in November 2010. He had posted a screed against a gun blogger for having had the temerity to also post on her favorite alcoholic beverage; Mikeb302000 decided that gun bloggers should never have the right to own a gun if they also posted a blog on adult beverages. Of course, as I discovered later, this anti-gun blogger Mikeb302000 is a United Nations employee who lives in Rome and posts his blogs (from three to nine posts per day) from his United Nations office and from his home (as evidenced by the site statistics I captured and posted here).

What this tool is paid to do is obvious: he monitors all the American gun blogs for any kind of material that he thinks he can use against them; if he finds something he feels is wrong, he writes posts linking to that gun blogger, hoping to stir up some controversy and get himself some attention (and improve his g00gle rankings). When he can't find anything in the gun blogs, he spends hours searching the news for anything mentioning the use of guns: a cop shot here, a suicide there, an accidental shooting somewhere else, and uses that unfortunate event to hound gun owners and to work for more anti-gun laws in the United States.

My honest reaction? He can go fuck himself raw with a McCulloch MC92 Hotsaw.

But I've made it a point to follow his posts on my RSS feed reader, and to follow his links and comment on some of the gun blogger's posts he attacks, providing the information I've found: that this snake is a United Nations employee who is working as hard as he can to overcome the rights granted U.S. citizens under the 2nd Amendment.

Again, mikeb302000, the chainsaw.

Oh, one of his posts today takes us back to the first time I blogged about him; trying to explain the purpose of a Venn Diagram.  Today, he posts this...

A = criminal gun owners
B = law-abiding gunowners
AUB =all of the in-between guys, including but not limited to the following.

1. anyone who has ever violated a gun-law but has never been convicted of a felony.
2. anyone who abuses his wife or children in any way but has never been convicted of it.
3. anyone who is addicted to drugs and/or alcohol but has not yet been disqualified.
4. anyone who has ever dropped a gun or caused a negligent discharge.
5. anyone who has become elderly or otherwise physically incapacitated.

I realize there are others, please feel free to mention them in the comments.  And I apologize for the disproportionate diagram. The AUB section should be much, much larger.

What's your opinion? Please leave a comment.

That's his tagline; after every post, he'll ask for a comment. But he won't post comments if you leave 'em, unless you're a LeftLibProgg or one of the gun bloggers he's baited into futile conversation

Best if all gun bloggers ignore him. Most do; as he's a well-known troll; his blogging partner, Jadegold, is despised by all.

Here's an appropriate Venn Diagram, Mikeb302000. Just for you.

UPDATE

MikeB302000 CAUGHT RED-HANDED SPOOFING COMMENTS AT HIS BLOG!

David Brooks wonders why Americans are under an unprecedented cloud of despair.

Why is there an undercurrent of continuing malaise in the nation's population, with no real 'bounce-back' to the 'happy days!' we usually see post-recession, you ask? Because, David Brooks, we still have an American neo-socialist holding forth from the White House. The mood you sense could be termed the 'John Galt Effect', a push-back by this nation's economic engineers (businessmen) against the promised and seemingly being delivered "CHANGE" we're seeing. Will there be no more of the 'happy days!' Americans cherish? No, I think not, because we are under a tremendous cloud of despair, and daily news brings us nothing but more economic and social storm noises: the Chinese threatening to sell off their American debt; gasoline prices surging to $5 and $6 per gallon (as Mr. Obama told us they would, as he approved of raising energy prices before he was elected, to stifle 'global warming'); public-sector unions demanding what is 'theirs', even if it can't realistically be paid for (and this new union alignment with far-left versions of socialism; witness the raised fist and 'solidarity!' iconography on their protest signs, and their demagoguery of 'rich' people like the Koch brothers...where would these unionists work, if not for industrialists? oh, right, the Government). Oh, and witness Brian Becker, a 'revolutionary' socialist no doubt emboldened by Mr. Obama's tacit approval of all things socialistic, who spoke this weekend, wanting access to junior high students for early indoctrination purposes.

These, and many more troubling news items, are just the freshest stab wounds to our nation's psyche. We are figuratively bleeding to death from thousands of these unhealed wounds. We have no national leader capable of healing the wounds; it seems Mr. Obama can only cause fresh wounds.

There's a very well-marked line Mr. Obama crossed while promoting America's trial-sized version of Socialism. Yes, ours is a hybrid version that's likely destined to be very short-lived, given the fiscal meltdown that's lurching ever closer. Can you not see the spectacular debt, the monstrous compounding interest that's owed on that debt, the failing dollar, and our shrinking pool of oil? What's coming along right behind this experimental version of American Socialism, post-trainwreck, is more like what we've already seen in past experiments in full-blown socialism: failure. There's never been a time-tested, successful version of socialism that hasn't failed. Many times the failure has been spectacular, with great loss of life.

Barack Obama speaks with a silver tongue, channeling Wesley Mouch, but he fails to extrapolate far enough ahead in time to realize the shortsightedness of his great, but out-of-reach, and doomed, expectations. Or maybe he does see the train wreck coming, but doesn't care.

There's the source of our gloom and despair, Mr. Brooks.

Donald Trump's Publicity Stunt: When Can We Expect to Lose this Idiot ?

Donald Trump's presidential campaign serves two purposes, as far as I can tell.

Firstly, he's increasing his own visibility. Because who would seriously pay attention to him otherwise? Self-promotion by 'running for President!' is a lucrative and profitable business...for awhile. One forces oneself onto the stage, into the spotlight, day after day, with little immediate risk.

Matt Egan...
Running for president may cost nearly $1 billion, but merely mulling a White House run can be awfully profitable.

As the political and business worlds collectively weigh the seriousness of what many see as a publicity stunt, Donald Trump’s larger-than-life brand is only growing larger.

If he opts to drop out of the running to be the GOP standardbearer, Trump will have pulled off a brilliant use of free advertising.

Trump, 64, who Forbes estimates is worth $2.7 billion, is everywhere these days. He’s dropping by for chats with Bill O’Reilly, visiting the ladies of " The View" and even appearing on the "Today Show." Each outspoken appearance creates headlines, fuels more buzz about his potential candidacy and reinforces his image.
But, in the case of a non-serious candidate, the negatives mount until the profits are overwhelmed by 'losses'. The more Trump runs his mouth, the less likely he will be to get any sort of nomination. There will be a 'break even' point, probably already charted somewhere, when the 'free publicity' meets the 'negative incentives', and he'll quickly withdraw back to his stasis position; that of a very wealthy man with increased visibility and marketability. The more he speaks, the sooner people realize he's a joke, the sooner those two lines will intersect and he'll trouble us no longer.

Secondly, he's airing out the 'birther' nonsense once and for all. He's spending some of his own money to 'investigate' the birth of Barack Hussein Obama (whom we already know has a Communist father, and a mother who was attracted to communists and radicals for whatever reason, so were self-made classless people who's child should never have risen past the level of large-city race pimp, AKA 'community organizer'). Finally the birther nonsense can be put to bed. I've said repeatedly that that particular argument was moot the day BHO was sworn in; there's was no need for Corsi to write his stupid book, or for Trump to build a 'campaign' on searching for BHO's 'roots' (such as they are). I'll be glad when Trump's campaign is finally over, and no more 'birther' nonsense can take precedent over the REAL issues - that we have a statist, neo-Marxist 'Community Organizer' as President who will CHANGE this nation to one heavily weighted towards a new 'American Socialism' dream that, while sounding  nice and pleasant, is unattainable and unsustainable; the idea and purpose of pursuing such a state of 'American Socialism' is good only to attract low-level moochers and idealistic dope-smoking LeftLibProggs to always vote for Democrats.

So, we'll just have to wait until Trump finally gets his 'money's worth' out of this joke of a campaign.

Here's when it'll happen...

"The Unhappy President": Barack Hussein Obama wants to pick up the pace of CHANGE!.

Jonah Goldberg puts his finger on Barack Obama's pulse, and confirms a throbbing of discontent...
The Oval Office, I always thought I was going to have really cool phones and stuff. . . . I'm like, "C'mon guys, I'm the president of the United States. Where's the fancy buttons and stuff and the big screen comes up?" It doesn't happen. - Pres. Barack H. Obama
The list of people I feel sorry for is long. It includes not just all of the people I know personally who are suffering from one misfortune or another, but the billions around the world who're having a rougher time than they ought: Japanese earthquake victims, targets of ethnic cleansing, etc. Then there's the supplemental list, which includes everyone from fans of Lost who were ripped off by the series finale to the guy in the middle seat on a long flight.

But one guy who doesn't make the list is Barack Obama.

And yet the president seems eager for people to know he feels aggrieved. All of a sudden, he's had a few "hot mic" incidents in which he "accidentally" vented his displeasure about various alleged insults. His staff let it be known that the president feels the head of China's one-party authoritarian regime has it better than him, because no one second-guesses Hu Jintao.

"I just miss - I miss being anonymous," he told some magazine executives recently. "I miss Saturday morning, rolling out of bed, not shaving, getting into my car with my girls . . . taking walks. I can't take a walk." He says the reason he plays so much golf is that it's the only way he can get away from the "bubble" he's in.

None of this is entirely new. The president has always had a gift for self-pity. And blame-shifting. "It's Bush's fault" could be the subtitle of his presidency.

And from the outset, the president has had little patience with critics. Serious critiques are always illegitimate "talking points." In the summer of '09 he started insisting that he didn't want to hear "a lot of talking" from Republicans. The time for debate always seems to be over when it's clear to everyone that he's losing the argument. When abroad, he loves to whine about the impertinence of the press.

I can't prove it, but I'm also hardly alone (on the right or the left) in thinking the president really just doesn't like the job anymore. He's testier. His response to the Republican budget plan was not merely dishonest, hypocritical, and partisan, it was bitterly personal.
Moving a bit too slowly for BHO's liking, this 'CHANGE' he's promised to bring to America, this 'community organizer' who now has the spotlight, and is expected to perform duties he likely abhors: dealing with the 'evil rich' and 'corporations', entities that he has detested for decades. As the titular head of the Democratic Party, he must advance their new-found neo-Marxist agenda. Too slowly for his liking, this movement to American Socialism.

Only one Party pushes economic resentment: the Democratic Socialist Party of America. Back when they were capitalism-first Democrats, such behavior wasn’t as apparent; it was well-guarded and kept hidden away in the lofty spheres of academia. Since Democrats were taken over by the LeftLibProgg neo-Marxists (those who decided that the Marx-approved fast-track to socialism via violent revolution wouldn’t work so well in a capitalist-corrupted Democracy that was the U.S. of A.; instead of 'bullets and bombs' these LeftLibProgg Democrats running things today prefer a gradual approach based on the slower-moving principles of ‘Community Organizing’ and economic hardship) they have taken to methods including beating up on the straw-men known as ‘Evil Rich Men’ and 'Corporations' as the cause of all of society’s problems. If only these repressors would pay more taxes! If only ‘Evil Corporations’ (run by the ‘Evil Rich Men’, of course) would pay enough in taxes, why, we could all be living high on the hog in a near-nirvana!

There’s a stirring occurring in the entire population. We will see how this plays out in 2012, a period of time that’s rife for a ‘Black Swan event’.

The left-leaning unions are shaping up to be the ‘revolutionaries’ who will provide the Left’s muscle on the street. It’s looking to be the Tea Partiers vs. the Union Thugs and the ‘Community Organized’ moochers in the overpopulated blue-city ‘burgs, struggling for contril of the heart and soul of this declining nation. Unfortunately, ‘our side’ is considered the ‘silent majority’, and most of us who are everyday Americans don’t pay much attention to political happenings until they're forced to, at election times and in these periods of economic crisis (yes, $4 - $6 + /gallon gas is a legitimate economic crisis).

So, BHO, you want anyone to feel sorry for your sorry ass? I'm much more inclined to agree with Mike over at Cold Fury...
Our King is a lousy, lying, Leftist bastard, and this is all going just the way he wanted it to. It’s lucky for him real Americans will never get the opportunity to thank him in the manner he truly deserves for the suffering he’s causing, directly and intentionally.
Heh, and indeed.

"Rage Boy" in Training

Today...

Tomorrow...

On Jack Stuef, Wonkette, and their collective's Trig Palin-bashing: the resultant photoshop.

Dan sent me a link to a photo of 'Mr.' Jack Stuef (a Georgetown kid who looks to be well on his way to Michael Moore's size and disposition) and a movie poster (Look Who's Talking). I couldn't make that work. Not 'punishing' enough.

But this, now, is more to the edge. Dan says 'Egad!'. I say this is Jack Stuef, looking out over his admiring, expectant Wonkette followers. He did exactly as they wanted him to do; bashing Trig Palin. He justly deserves this portrayal. You're welcome.

Jack Stuef prepares to perform for his admiring Wonkett audience.

Oh, and be sure to buy Papa John's Pizza, since they had the sense to pull their ads from that miserable flophouse.

"God, what a hideous, pathetic tool."

Who will be the 2012 Republican nominee for President?

The New York Times releases 'their' wish-list, a poll conducted with CBS' resources to gauge intent amongst Republicans. As I figured, there's no real consensus.
Republican voters have yet to form strong opinions about most of their potential candidates for president in 2012, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

Of this group, I like Sarah Palin, but I realize that her candidacy might be untenable. That doesn't mean I'll vote FOR a candidate preferred by the NYT (like John McCain was) or any candidate who doesn't meet the NRA's strict requirements (Mitt Romney).

Donald Trump isn't even smart enough to carry Ross Perot's stage charts.

John Huntsman, the 'dark horse' there at the bottom? Well, he has the future leader of China's endorsement. Since China owns a large piece of the U.S. debt, that endorsement may prove important.
(Reuters) - Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping on Thursday lauded the departing U.S. ambassador, Jon Huntsman, who may enter the Republican presidential race, setting aside tension over human rights to hail an "old friend of the Chinese people."

Xi and Huntsman are both potential top leaders with an eye on 2012 and beyond, and Xi's unprompted praise stood out after weeks of testy exchanges with the United States over China's tightened grip on dissent.

Huntsman this month ends his time as the Obama administration's chief envoy in Beijing, during which he has taken on a high profile in challenging the ruling Communist Party's clampdown on dissidents and protesters.

But Huntsman, a former Republican governor of Utah who speaks fluent Chinese, has also promoted steadier ties after quarrels in 2010 over China's Internet controls, Tibet and the exiled Dalai Lama, and U.S. arms sales to Taiwan, the self-ruled island claimed by China.
I'd certainly prefer the Chinese endorsement of our Republican nominee over the LeftLibProggs at the NYT.

And Barack Hussein Obama isn't done shaping this nation into the CHANGEd social paradise he's wanting. He is keeping his personal thoughts close to his vest, but this...
"It is going to take more than a couple of years," Obama said. "It's going to take us more than one term to finish everything that we need to do."
...rings ominous.

This guy is taking us on a ride even the Democrats can't (and won't) comprehend. They are all now but useful idiots, along for the ride of their lives, ending in a trainwreck that might see this nation fail, as did the Soviet Union 20 years ago. All it took was a stagnating economy (check) and, in our case, rising fuel prices (check) and a malaise of opinion, a feeling that CHANGE is imminent (check).

We are not too big to fail.

Smart Phone Data Extraction Tools Used by Law Enforcement Tools : Cellebrite UFED

The ACLU is seeking information from the Michigan State Police on their usage of cell phone scanning devices that can extract ALL DATA (even that stuff you deleted) from a smart phone in less than a minute and a half. They've been using these devices since 2008, during 'traffic stops', asking people to allow officers to scan their devices with the dumb-baiting line 'if you don't have anything to hide, why not let us take a look?' (the smarmiest trick in their book: remember, one of the TEN RULES FOR DEALING WITH THE POLICE: just tell cops NO: YOU MAY NOT SEARCH WITHOUT A WARRANT).

From The Newspaper dot com (h/t Drudge)...

Michigan: Police Search Cell Phones During Traffic Stops

ACLU seeks information on Michigan program that allows cops to download information from smart phones belonging to stopped motorists.

The Michigan State Police have a high-tech mobile forensics device that can be used to extract information from cell phones belonging to motorists stopped for minor traffic violations. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan last Wednesday demanded that state officials stop stonewalling freedom of information requests for information on the program.

ACLU learned that the police had acquired the cell phone scanning devices and in August 2008 filed an official request for records on the program, including logs of how the devices were used. The state police responded by saying they would provide the information only in return for a payment of $544,680. The ACLU found the charge outrageous.

"Law enforcement officers are known, on occasion, to encourage citizens to cooperate if they have nothing to hide," ACLU staff attorney Mark P. Fancher wrote. "No less should be expected of law enforcement, and the Michigan State Police should be willing to assuage concerns that these powerful extraction devices are being used illegally by honoring our requests for cooperation and disclosure."

A US Department of Justice test of the CelleBrite UFED used by Michigan police found the device could grab all of the photos and video off of an iPhone within one-and-a-half minutes. The device works with 3000 different phone models and can even defeat password protections.

"Complete extraction of existing, hidden, and deleted phone data, including call history, text messages, contacts, images, and geotags," a CelleBrite brochure explains regarding the device's capabilities. "The Physical Analyzer allows visualization of both existing and deleted locations on Google Earth. In addition, location information from GPS devices and image geotags can be mapped on Google Maps."

The ACLU is concerned that these powerful capabilities are being quietly used to bypass Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable searches.

"With certain exceptions that do not apply here, a search cannot occur without a warrant in which a judicial officer determines that there is probable cause to believe that the search will yield evidence of criminal activity," Fancher wrote. "A device that allows immediate, surreptitious intrusion into private data creates enormous risks that troopers will ignore these requirements to the detriment of the constitutional rights of persons whose cell phones are searched."
Here's the tool, the Cellebrite UFED Physical Pro. A hacker-in-a-box solution to data mining and recovery.

Cool. Now even the dumbest cops on the road can be 'hackers'.

Lulz.

My Titans Catch-Up Post: the 2011 Season Schedule; and Kenny Britt's Dumb Azz

If, you know, there is a season to be had. From the NCP (home games in emphasis) ...
The complete 2011 Titans’ regular season schedule:

Sept. 11 at Jacksonville, noon (CBS)
Sept. 18 vs. Baltimore, noon (CBS)
Sept. 25 vs. Denver, noon (CBS)

Oct. 2 at Cleveland, noon (CBS)
Oct. 9 at Pittsburgh, noon (CBS)
Oct. 16 Bye
Oct. 23 vs. Houston, noon (CBS)
Oct. 30 vs. Indianapolis, noon (CBS)
Nov. 6 vs. Cincinnati, 3:05 p.m. (CBS)

Dec. 11 vs. New Orleans, noon (Fox)
Dec. 18 at Indianapolis, noon (CBS)
Dec. 24 vs. Jacksonville, noon (CBS)
Jan. 1 at Houston, noon (CBS)
There's only one mid-afternoon game (vs. Cincy Nov. 6); the rest all start at high noon. No Sunday night or Monday night (NFL TV prime-time) games. Oh, and Christmas Eve; that should be a party. Hopefully we will have won a game by then!

New, untested, and likely in-for-a-long-season Head Coach Mike Munchak is not perturbed at the slight. Bud (Got Aricept?) Adams was unavailable for comment, but after he's been told six or eight times that his team isn't being showcased with a prime-time TV slot, then he'll likely raise holy 'release-the-birds!' hell, and blame Coach Fisher. Who will remain unavailable for comment, sittin' there with a big grin on his face (Jeff Fisher will be back in 2012, as a very-highly-sought-after Head Coach).

Meanwhile, the NFL draft looms.

Maybe we'll take a receiver, since Kenny Britt's dumb ass tried to outrun the cops in Bayonne NJ in a 4-door Porsche (c'mon, Kenny, no 'real' sports car driver has a 4-door Porsche!). Oh, when he finally parked on a side street after a not-so-high-speed chase, he and his bud tried to nonchalantly walk away; Britt tried to tell the cops he wasn't driving; the high-school buddy ran, throwing crap from his pockets until he was caught in an alley. Oh, Britt said the joint wasn't his; he was just whistling while sauntering away from the stopped car because well, you know, marijuana makes you stupid.

Oh, he was only going 71 in a 50 when he was clocked, so that's not so bad; it was just the cloud of marijuana smoke and the gangsta 'tard sitting next to him that would've sealed his fate. Word, Kenny, NEVER run from the cops. Word. NEVER.

And listen to your poor old man. He's smarter than you'll ever be.

Oh, and we need a Quarterback, since Vince Young's natural-born stupidity finally caught up with him; he won't be back. Oh,and, a couple DB's as well.

WTF. We'll just take one of each, thankyouverymuch.

Standard & Poor's lights a major fire under U.S. politicians; thwarts BHO's 'redistributionist' plans.

Poor old Barack Obama. No matter what he wants to do, his agenda is now forced to become "The Economy, Stupid!". He is trapped in the most politically vulnerable job in the land; he's a die-hard far-left redistributionist who wants desperately to enact benevolent social welfare programs for 'his' people so as to keep them in thrall to 'his' politics. And what happens?

Reality craps on BHO's redistributionist parade route.

"We believe there is a material risk that US policymakers might not reach an agreement on how to address medium- and long-term budgetary challenges by 2013; if an agreement is not reached and meaningful implementation is not begun by then, this would in our view render the US fiscal profile meaningfully weaker than that of peer 'AAA' sovereigns."

S&P shot one across BHO's dirty socialist bow, rating the U.S.'s fiscal outlook from 'stable' to 'negative'. Stocks fell, politicians must now take serious note. There are hard choices ahead for all of us, lifestyle changes, retirement changes.

The New York Times features a 'debate', actually a bundle of seven economists of NYT's choosing, to mostly pooh-pooh the S&P's rating change. One right after the other, solid (left-leaning, no doubt) 'opinions' that the S&P rating can be safely ignored; with the caveat that politicians need to shut up and do something. Hopefully, something nice and pleasant, AFA Democrats are concerned.

One mentions the ongoing "Gang of Six" Senators, three Democrats and three Republicans, putting together a 'workable' budget plan that involves ideas from both Left-Liberal-Progg (Sen. Dick Durbin) and 'Conservative' (Sen. Saxby Chambliss) fonts of 'wisdom'. We'll see.

One of the seven NYT debaters, Arnold Kling (author of this George Mason - Mercatus 'working paper', "Guessing the Trigger"), isn't so blindly optimistic, and therefore worth reading. A snippet...
If we have a crisis, it will occur suddenly as markets reach a tipping point, taking people by surprise.

To me, the important thing to keep in mind is that some people's expectations for their future retirement will have to be disappointed. Government obligations, including worker pensions, Social Security, and Medicare, are underfunded. Government may renege on its promises. If instead it tries to keep its promises, it will probably have to confiscate the wealth of those who are trying to provide for their own retirement. One of those unpleasant scenarios, or a combination of the two, is fairly certain to occur.

The decisions over how to distribute the pain are likely to involve intense political conflict. The longer we avoid making the hard decisions, the worse the ultimate conflict is likely to be. If you think that the tough choices will only be made under crisis conditions, then you might actually root for a crisis to occur sooner rather than later.
Ummm, no. The last 'crisis' gave politicians an excuse to run up massive 'stimulus' deficits we'll never pay back. We need to correct this problem now, under the cloud of a 'pre-collapse crisis' rather than wait for a 'post-meltdown showdown' when pants-shitting politicians can do little more than make things worse.

But the bottom line, as Kling points out, is that Government can no longer fund Social Security, Medicare and pension programs without raiding and stealing monies from 'private' retirement funds.

If you have a 401(K) or similar vehicle, then you best beware.

I'm not saying pull out the funds right this minute (you'll take a severe tax hit) but that option must be considered. Because the next crash will likely wipe out any funds you have, OR the government will raid and 'confiscate' those monies (the least level of 'charity') to use for it's unsustainable obligations to other people.

"YOU KNOW JA!" ...and other outerrealm religions too, I suppose.

From Rebel Pundit, this video of an unhinged LeftLibProgg in Madison on Saturday, speaking to Sarah Palin...too funny not to share.

A bit too much bong before breakfast, I'm guessing.

New York Times' Dr. Paul Krugman: "Let's Not Be Civil." Mkay, Paul, whatever you say.

The Old Gray Gal has blown a couple gaskets this morning. First, an editorial decrying the 'New Republican Landscape' that's desirous of cutting the nation's spending and restoring us to solvency. Then, Dr. Paul Krugman wants to suspend civility (!) to push full throttle against Paul Ryan's road map to salvage this nation from smoking ruin.

You know, these inconvenient airings of truth and the fixes that've enraged Democrats, the necessary Donkey Rinse of our Left - Proggressive friend's policies, wouldn't have to have happened if only their policies hadn't driven this nation to stunning levels of debt, with no easy means of reversing or actually paying for the debt (much less the accruing interest on the debt). Barack Obama's speech promoted an unworkable plan; Democrats will now push their frothing base to new extremes with the mantra-memes of TAX THE (Democrat-demonized 'evil') RICH! and CORPORATIONS! more, but with few spending cuts. Democrats have an implied promise to deliver more and more 'free lunches' to woo Democratic voters. Democrats have mastered the method: "Community Organize" and keep their existing mostly-moocher voters in thrall to their programs; demonize the 'evil rich' to pay 'their share' (and MORE!), and still demand more and more unworkable social programs that are now impossible to provide because their funding is seemingly derived from thin air; always programs 'for the CHILDREN!' or the aged, or the 'less fortunate', or...you know the drill. Like children, these LeftLibProgg Democrats are getting ready to throw a tantrum, lead by none other than failed-Keynesian-policy-supporter-wank Dr. Paul Krugman and our President who seeks re-election.

Heh. Detroit, a Democratic stronghold, has had enough...

Detroit Moves Against Unions

Mayor and Schools Chief Leverage State Law to Force Change, Close Budget Gaps

Mr. Bobb, already an emergency financial manager for the struggling and shrinking public school system, is getting further authority under a measure signed into law March 17 that broadens state powers to intervene in the finances and governance of struggling municipalities and school districts. This could enable Mr. Bobb to void union contracts, sideline elected school-board members, close schools and authorize charter schools

Mr. Bobb, appointed in 2009 by Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm and retained by Republican Gov. Rick Snyder, pledged last week to use those powers to deal decisively with the district's $327 million shortfall and its educational deficiencies. Mr. Bobb raised the possibility of making unilateral changes to the collective-bargaining agreements signed with teachers less than two years ago.

He is also expected to target seniority rights that protect longtime teachers from layoffs and give them the ability to reject certain school placements.
Mr. Bobb, a Democrat, cutting away at unions. Why so honest, Mr. Bobb?

There is a monetary crisis, a debt crisis, that was caused by spending far too much money on these Democratic vote-getting programs; beginning with the New Deal and continuing on to LBJ's Great Society and, yes, even George Bush's prescription drug program. Great ideas and ideals, but there's no way to fund nirvana, folks, at least not to the level Democrats desire (that level being a level that gives them a 'winning voting margin'). A 'safety net' is fine; but we cannot afford to have a 'cocoon'.

Rep. Paul Ryan's road map to solvency is necessary to prevent the USA from following the Soviet Union to implosion and collapse; that 'reset button' event that none of us would like very much to happen. That event may still be in our near future despite the work the Tea Partiers are doing to stop or delay it. Especially likely to happen if the blue-blood elitist Republicans cave and allow more unchecked spending from the public coffers.

There is no such thing as a free lunch, or TANSTAAFL as Heinlein wrote it. We've saddled the output of this nation to pay interest on debt that's compounded to outrageous levels, and no amount of Left - Proggressive demonizing of the 'evil rich' for more and more taxes will cover the tab. We must have CHANGE.

We are broke and disgusted. Let's Tea Party!

Sarah Palin strikes at the heart of the Left:
Madison, Wisconsin, aka 'Berkeley on the Prairie'.

(afterword...I suggest, Dr. Paul Krugman, that you take a 'chill pill'. You don't really want to 'suspend civility'.  As if any of the Left has kept civility foremost, especially the Union Thug sorts. But if you insist, the Tea Party will be your huckleberry.  Word, Doc. )

My "You know you're semi-good looking and on the streets again..." tribute post.

Something today reminded me of this song, so here 'tis.

Van Halen, the best wicked smash-your-mouth in-your-face rock 'n' roll band of all time, period and end of story.

1954 Oldsmobile F-88 Convertible Concept Car

This, a lighter offering. Via email...

The world's rarest automobile. A 1954 concept Old's Rocket F88 - the only one in existence.

This is the car that in 1954 could have "killed" the Corvette. Chevrolet, being GM's big sales and profit division, campaigned to GM to "kill" this car. When Chevy was coming out with it's 6-cylinder sports car with it's 2-speed "Powerglide" transmission and side curtains, here was a wicked sports car from Oldsmobile with a big V-8 and...power windows!

So, GM said NO to Oldsmobile.

John S. Hendricks, (Discovery Communications founder) paid in excess of 3 million to acquire this beauty.

After spending decades as a collection of parts stuffed into wooden crates, the F-88 was reassembled.
In 1954, the F-88 was a Motorama "Dream Car" and was one of only two, or an unconfirmed three ever created. The F-88 seen here is literally the only known car left of its kind. It was sold to John and Maureen Hendricks at the prestigious Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in Scottsdale for an unbelievable $3,240,000. This acquisition made automotive history and is the "cornerstone" of the Gateway Colorado Automobile Museum, given it's own special room with a rotating display worthy of the F-88.

Donald Trump is a chump. And a MOBY.

I've said before that the birthers are nothing more than flame-bait for BOTH sides; that questioning BHO's 'right' to assume the Presidency is a weak attack; that those who waste time with 'birther' attacks on a proven far-left neo-Communist who has a myriad of faults to choose from is counterproductive. That BHO was born of a radical mother married to a racist, communist father isn't his fault; his choices later in life ARE his fault and are open to scrutiny.

Donald Trump is not Presidential. I see him as a joke, a distraction, and not worthy of serious consideration. Mark Levin agrees, and rips Donald Trump to shreds...

DONALD CHUMP AND HIS SPIN

Look how Chump operates. Caught red-handed now with his vicious attacks on George Bush, who most conservatives had issues with, he now says but for Bush there would have likely been no Obama. That may well be true. I have been a harsh critic of Bush's spending, including in my book. But Chump was calling Bush EVIL and demanded his IMPEACHMENT because of the Iraq war and in the middle of that war. He said Bush lied to get us into Iraq. His comments were vile and outrageous, not unlike the America-hating leftists who sought to undermine our armed forces there. Now he wants us to believe that his criticism of Bush was because Bush's poor record set the stage for Obama? Chump attacked Bush over Iraq because if you were a big-mouth, attention-seeking liberal, it was the thing to do. He had no altruistic or principled conservative motive for doing so at the time and expressed none.

As recently as last year, while conservatives and Tea Party activists were organizing and rallying against Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their radical agenda, Chump was helping to fund some of our opponents. He contributed to left-wing, Tea Party-hating menaces like Chuck Schumer, Anthony Weiner, and Harry Reid. What about his contributions to Charlie Crist, while Crist was running against Marco Rubio? Did he donate to any of the Tea Party candidates? Did he contribute to the Tea Party movement in any way, with time or money, before today? Why not?

Chump also praised Nancy Pelosi. He thought she was great. I played the audio. I guess he was just mistaken, again. He supported universal health care, but not any more, of course. He supported abortion and gay marriage, but that was then, this is now. He supported John Kerry for president in 2004, but that's because Bush was so evil. He leaned on government officials to use eminent domain against a little old lady whose home happened to be in the way of a parking lot he wanted to build for one of his casinos in Atlantic City, but he has always been for private property rights.

So now Chump rails against China and demands Obama's birth certificate and we are supposed to swoon over the man. But when asked about the Ryan budget, he turns stupid again -- he says Ryan should not take the lead on this, we need a bipartisan consensus to move forward? And with whom do we build this bipartisan consensus? Reid? Obama? Is Chump really this dumb, or is he, once again, trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing?

Chump is a phony and dissembling. He called a hastily organized press event this morning because I, and others, are on to him. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/04/16/trump-lashes-out-at-george-w-bush-and-obama/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+rss%2Fcnn_politicalticker+%28Blog%3A+Political+Ticker%29

Today he is speaking at a local Tea Party rally. And why? Because now he wants our support, not because he supports us or our principles, or ever did. Chump is about Chump. And he thinks we're too stupid to notice. Are we?

Obama's Senate Vote on the Raising the Debt Ceiling, 2006: Hell, NO! Now, CHANGE!

Yes, Barack Obama has changed his mind again, this time on an issue he felt so strongly about that he marched straight up to the podium on the Senate floor and whipped off this heartfelt and divisive statement...
The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.

Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here'. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.
Damn, he sounded good then, didn't he? If he would only speak those same lines today, a short 5 years later, he'd be a man of his convictions and one might could take him seriously. But NO!. Now, he's CHANGEed his mind; now he's changed his opinion from that earlier 'then' because 'now' what he spoke is harmful to his innate dirty socialist ways.

But we remember these things, Baracky. He's confronted with his earlier statement, and decides his thoughts in 2006 were little more than political hackery and small-mindedness, not deserving of consideration, then or now...

What a harmful tool to this nation is Barack Hussein Obama. He's still engaging in the same political hackery and small-mindedness as he claims he did in 2006; only now he's just changed sides, flipped 180 degrees to make his new 'now' debt choices fit his narrative. Witness his Wednesday speech, widely seen as that of a mere 'Community Organizer' plotting his re-election strategy and not the speech of a President who should take the nation in the direction that would correct our deep budget crisis.

Barack Obama "is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership." Yes, Barack, you're right. "Americans deserve better".

Democrats had to ride to the rescue to save his 2011 budget proposal from going down in flames, as 59 'Good Men and Women' voted against the Boehner - Reid- Obama compromise that cut a whopping $353 millions! from the Democrat's 2011's budget.

No wonder BHO was so giddy Wednesday when it came to newspeak speech-time; he hardly had to do a thing to get a cave from the GOP.

Let's hope that he doesn't get his debt ceiling increase. But I'm not holding my breath.

Note:

My own Congressman and Representative from Tennessee's 6th Congressional District, Diane Black (self-described on the Twitter as a "Mother, grandmother, nurse, small business owner and conservative Republican") voted FOR this 2011 budget. Weak, Diane Black, weak. Must be the grandmotherly thing. We need strong, vigorous, staunch Conservatives representing the people; not weak secondary caregivers. Keep up this faux-conservatism, we'll have a nice Tea Party candidate running against you in the Primary come 2012.
